'Do you still feel dizzy?"Sapphire stared at the worried expression on his face and couldn't help but let out a small smile. It was cute to see him look so worried, the big bad billionaire is fusing over nothing.
'I am alright, just a little bit of memories I don't want to remember," She replied, and Alexander stared at her for a while before nodding in agreement.
'I should prepare something for you to drink, I totally forgot, let me text Alyssa, I think she is downstairs, what kind of drink do you want? Or should I ….." He said but Sapphire wasn't listening, is he really worried about him?
'Do you not want to ask me what kind of memories trigger those reactions?" Sapphire asked with a raised brow and Alexander stopped what he was doing.
'Of course I want to know, I have decided that you would be the one to tell me—' He said but Sapphire cut him off.
'That is what I am trying to do, sit. I am ready to tell you everything in a go," She said and even though she maintained a strong front, she couldn't help herself from fisting her hand beside her, she held the sheets so tight that her hand became white.
'You would be the one to tell me when all the things that happened to you are nothing more than a sad memories, you would tell me when it doesn't send you to a dark place anymore, you would tell me when you can finally make a hearty joke about it and believe me when I say that I would be there to listen,"
They both stared at each other for a while and Sapphire nodded with a smile on her face, who made this guy so understanding?
She stretched out the invitees she got from Matthew to Alexander and the man stared at it for a while before collecting it and checking it out.
'I am invited back into the circle?" She said simply and he raised a brow at her.
'This is just an invitation to a yoga practice and cooking class, doesn't look like a rich circle club to me,"
'That is just a camouflage, you get invited to the activities, then you would become a member of the class, then you would have to join the club, and you are already in the circle. They did it like that so that people won't call them the narcissistic pieces of shit they all are."
'You would go and from there?"
'You have no objection to me going? I was bullied there one, it may bring back the memories,"
'I told you that I would support you no matter what you are doing, we are both going to get revenge for you. They threw you to the wolves, I don't see any bad in it if you come back leading the pack," Alexander said, with a shrug.
'Supportive much?" She asked, with a teasing smirk.
'Just know that if they managed to throw you into hell again, I would always be at the pit waiting to bring you back home," He replied, and a light blush creeped up her cheeks.
A knock was heard on the door and the both turned their head to it, Sapphire told the person behind the door to enter and Luci walked into the room with a tray in her hands.
She was in casual clothes but hadn't got rid of the make up on her face, her hair was packed into a ponytail and she looked beautiful.
'How are you feeling?" She asked, dropping the tray on the table and raising a cup of tea to her, Sapphire collected it with a nod.
'I am good, and you? How is it coming along?" Sapphire asked and Luci glanced at Alexander who was staring at Sapphire. 'It is okay, don't mind him, treat him like a squirrel, just there but never heard what you said," Sapphire added and Alexander raised a brow at her.
'He fell into the bait, seems like the idiot didn't know that I am your friend yet, treated me like a naïve and gullible businesswoman and I played my role so damn perfectly," Luci explained. 'The only downside is that my cheeks hurt for faking smiles and laughter throughout the meeting,"
'That is good, when he knows you know how to act, I have been invited to the circle just like I predicted that Melissa would,"'Aren't you taking this thing slow?"
'Revenge is best served cold and in red dress and would you look at me? I am wearing a white pajama," Sapphire said, raising the edge of the shirt with her thumb and index finger.'Ruby is coming here tomorrow, though I should inform you all," Sapphire announced.
'You are okay with it right? Alexander?" She asked and the man nodded.'It is a good chance for the kids to meet their uncle,"
'Don't go crowding my brother Luci, I don't want him to have to fake a smile here too," Sapphire warned her friend.
'Who would crowd who? "Welcome is not crowded," Luci said and went out of the room.
'What do you plan to do when you get into SJAY, I know that you are not going there because you love the company,"
'Well I do love the company, I brought up the ideas, drafted the budgets, saw through its creation, so it is like a baby that was snatched from me," Sapphire explained. 'but I am going there because of Gabriel Nicks, also known as, Gabe,"
'Gabriel? That is Oliver's former assistant, he isn't at SJAY,"
'He isn't but his abandoned sister is,"
'Abandoned sister?" He asked and thought of it for a while. 'The one that he disowned three years ago,"
'Yeah, that sister, Rina Nicks, she used to work at Sparkle but our path never crossed, she was at a different section from mine, I only dealt with Gabe. Gabriel was promoted, a double promotion, and Rina was demoted, was transferred to SJAY, a miniscule company when compared to Sparkle, she is the team manager of the most uncooperative team in SJAY. All that happened a month after I fled,"
'So you are going to?"
'I am going to get close to her, she must have had some dirt on Oliver and Gabe to be demoted like that, I am sure that she wasn't fired because Oliver wanted to keep a close eye on it,"
'You could have just approached her, why go through the stress of working at SJAY?"
'I want that, and I also want Sparkle, I want Oliver to lose everything he had ever had just like he made me did,"
'Should I just get Sparkle for you and maybe SJAY too, it won't be difficult. Even though I don't see how SJAY connects in that grand way to Sparkle."
'SJAY is the next generation Sparkle, when I drafted the plan, I made SJAY a modern go-to place for women to get all their needs, everything and anything a woman may need but I made a special plan for cosmetics in the draft. I foresaw that it would get to a time when makeup would be everyone's desire, nice and simple, pleasing and glistening and we are in that era." Sapphire said, with a distant look in her eyes.
'Oliver would soon do that, he would launch the program soon and I know that he would use my ideas, when the thing is a hit, he would make it the second main business of Sparkle group in order to boost his stocks, he would always bring Sparkle alongside SJAY and there and then, he would run out of ideas, that is where I would come in, after all I am the strategic planning manager of SJAY,"
'Do you think he would accept you as the manager?"
'Oliver is dumb, Alexander. He would be very pleased that I applied, he would want to use my ideas again,"
'What do you need me to do?"
'Can you help me create a small company that deals with cosmetics?"
'Small company?"
'Yeah, and don't put it under the Aldine's name, just find someone to be the face of the place and I should be the real chairwoman that remained anonymous,"
'Then it is done,"
'Thanks, Alexander," Sapphire said, gratefully, she had wanted to do this alone but his support would make it easier for her.
Alexander took her hand in his, looking at the size and color differences, he raised his head and stared into her face.
'I meant it when I said that I would do anything for you, even if that thing is ruining someone else, I would not bat an eyelid," He whispered breathily.
