'Don't try to move closer, stay where you are," He gritted out, glaring daggers at the man.
She wondered what he had said or done to trigger Sapphire's past, the man lowered his hand while still staring at it.
'I would take my wife away now," He told him and he nodded. Alexander turned to go but Matthew held him by the arm which made the man turn to look at him.
'Can we have a discussion after you drop her in the room?" He asked and Alexander scoffed.
'Can you get out of my property right now?" He asked in return and walked away with Sapphire in his hands.
'What the—-" Matthew said and scoffed before walking away, he got into his car and sat on the car seat, he remembered how Alexander held Sapphire and jabbed his fist on the steering angrily.
The man didn't like her, he is sure of that, he probably just wants to use her and her kids, especially her kids because he can't give birth to his own.
The man's intention is not that plain and simple, nobody likes the person they are in an arranged marriage with. Alexander used to like Shirley before she died and he is sure that it hasn't changed.
She won't allow Sapphire to place all her trust on this shady man, the biggest mistake he made was sitting still when he had a bad hunch about Oliver, he wasn't going to do that again.

Oliver stared at the document in front of him and smirked, whatever this woman wanted would be known only after she had invested.
He was waiting for her to enter through the door, so that she could see her physically, he lowered his head to open the file.
'Hello, Mr. Gray?" He heard and raised his head, he saw a woman standing in front of him and nodded his head.
'That's me, you are Ms. Carter right?" He asked even though he recognized her, he already saw her pictures in the files sent by Maria.
'Yes, that me," Luci replied, a smile on her face as she placed her butts on the chair.
'How about we order something before we discuss business, you are just coming, I think you should relax a bit," He said, displaying the gentleman role the whole nation knows him as.
‘Just order whatever the fuck you want to order and let us talk about the main thing we are here for,' Oliver thought, the smile in his lips never leaving.
'Thanks so much, I am glad that you thought about that, many people won't mind the fact that you have to relax a bit, you are truly the gentleman people said you are," Luci replied, with a goofy smile on face.
Anyone staring at her would think that she is a lovestruck fan who was seeing her favorite celebrity for the first time.
‘Let us see how far you will go to fool me, Asshole. I feel like punching that faux smile out of his lips,' Luci thought while also maintaining the grin,he smiled at her and he nodded.
His phone rang and he brought it out, she could see that it was Heather that was calling him.
'Excuse me, please, I need to pick this call," Oliver said.
‘I would leave whether you like it or not, anyways,' Oliver thought and watched as Luci nodded.
'You do that, I will go and order something," Luci replied.
‘I don't want you in my sight, you would do me a fucking favor by getting out of here, bastard,' she thought internally.
He nodded and picked the call, walking away, it seemed like he was heading to the toilet.
Luci's smile dropped from her face as soon as he was away, she massaged her cheek that was beginning to hurt because of smiling too much.
'Let us get this done and over with," Luci muttered.

'Matthew," Melissa called with a smile on her face, she saw sitting on the couch when he entered. Her smile dropped when she noticed the frown on his face.
'Do you also think that Alexander really likes Sapphire?" Matthew asked and Melissa twisted her mouth a bit before shaking her head.
'Of course not, Alexander had eyes only for Shirley, I don't think that anybody could attract him," Melissa replied and Matthew nodded.
'Melissa," he called and she raised her head to stare at him.
'Yeah?"
'What did you do to Sapphire three years ago?" He asked, staring straight into her eyes.
'What are you talking about?" Melissa asked, averting her eyes after she realized what Matthew was asking.
'I am talking about what you know, don't play dumb, Melissa."
'Well, I did what she said I did, you went to her house right? You went to see her?" She replied and Matthew scoffed.
'Why did you hurt her then? Why do you still want to hurt her now? What are your intentions when you gave your mom those invitees?"
'You still don't get why I am doing this?" Melissa asked, angrily. 'If you must know it is because of you, everything that is happening is because of you, I don't have the time to list the reasons one after the other but if you did as much as sit your ass down and think about it, then you would know it, you would get it!" She yelled and walked away.
Melissa had never yelled at Matthew, not to talk of cursing at him, that day was the first and he felt like there were many more to come.
He didn't understand what he meant when she said that he is the reason why she is doing all that,he never asked her to do that, hell, he couldn't bear the thought of just hurting Sapphire.
He ran his hand through his hair and exhaled, he looked to his right and saw Venita standing there with a glass of wine in her hand and a bored expression on her face.
Venita stared at the wine in the glass with a thoughtful expression. She looks pretty villainous standing there or maybe it is just because of her job as a model, he briefly wondered if Venita was also involved in the mess.
