Chapter 6

My brother twitched his newly-trimmed eyebrows, his tone challenging:

"Seducing my sister—you're not trying to get to me through her, are you?"

I rushed between them in one quick step, hurriedly explaining: "Brother, I seduced him first!"

My brother was so angry he reached out to pull my pigtail, but Lily stepped forward, gently stopping him:

"Alex, don't be so impulsive. Ethan is a guest, after all."

With just one sentence from her, my brother immediately backed down.

I secretly glanced at Ethan Shaw, his face still expressionless.

He probably didn't realize that in these four years, Lily had already wrapped my brother around her finger.

Thinking back to four years ago, I had a huge fight with my brother over being bullied.

Furious, he drove out in the middle of the night to meet his buddies for drinks, but on the way encountered Lily Smith, who was also being bullied.

But Lily was nothing like me.

My brother sat in his car, watching the entire scene unfold like some divine spectator.

He saw her get up from the ground in her tattered clothes, grab a brick, and without hesitation charge after the group that was walking away.

He immediately jumped out of the car and grabbed Lily's wrist:

"You can't take them all."

But Lily was like a cornered animal, her whole body radiating pure rage.

She raised her bloodshot eyes and said through gritted teeth:

"Let me go! He thinks I wouldn't dare jump him? I'm going to make that bastard pay."

In just that second, my brother fell completely under her spell.

He handed her his handkerchief, then removed a ring bearing the Feng family crest, and said to her seriously:

"Come with me. I'll handle this, and from now on, no one will ever mess with you again."

So early the next morning, when I went downstairs for breakfast, I saw Lily Smith sitting at our dining table.

And in front of her was seafood fried rice that my brother had personally made—something he'd never done for anyone.
