Lilith's POV

As I walked slowly beside Adams, my heart beat hard and fast in my chest. Below the ramparts a terrific battle was going on, and it was intense to witness. Two wolves fighting each other—a fierce and savage dance involving their sharp claws and powerful teeth.

The air was filled with the wild and piercing sounds of battle cries which vibrated through the ground under our feet. I became more alert and focused with each second that passed.

'Look over there!" I said excitedly, pointing my finger towards something I recognized among the group of troublemakers.

'It is the Green Forest, my home pack! I can't believe they would turn against us like this. How could they do something so hurtful?"

Adams' spoke to me, 'Ben has influenced their thoughts in a very negative way. He had convinced them that they would take control and gain power. He will not give up until he has succeeded in tearing us apart completely."

'Then we will demonstrate to them exactly what loyalty really means," I responded, my voice filled with intensity as I tightened my fists, feeling a strong determination ignite within me.

As the fight continued without any sign of stopping, my frustration grew stronger. I looked on as Raoul and Bartholomew fought hard against the overwhelming wave of dark and furry figures that were advancing towards them with loud vicious growls.

The rogues, as we called them, were charging forward with an unstoppable rage, but it was evident that the very first attack they made was being met with tough and strong opposition.

The two brothers were being pushed backwards, and I could tell that they were starting to run out of energy to keep fighting back the endless horde.

'Adams, they really need our help!" I shouted with urgency, with a sense of despair as I realized that the space surrounding them was becoming smaller.

'I'm getting ready to take charge of the reinforcements," Adams said with a fierce look in his eyes that suggested a great storm was building inside him. 'We will not allow them to take our pack away from us."

His strong and commanding voice rose above all the commotion, sparking a sense of determination and bravery in the warriors nearby. 'Are you all set to stand and fight for the place we call home?"

They let out loud roars in reply to the situation, but just before Adams was able to give the order, a sudden and loud shout pierced through the noise.

'WATCH OUT!"

As I halted there, my tummy suddenly dropped to my feet and I found it hard to breathe. A very big swirling ball of crackling energy was speeding straight toward us, and it made my heart skip. It seemed like time was moving in slow motion.

I watched in absolute horror as the ball flew over the fight. A wave of fear washed over me as it became clear that we were in serious danger.

'Get down!" Adams shouted loudly. Before I had the chance to respond or think, he quickly grabbed hold of my wrist and pulled me to the side as he dove away from danger.

A loud and powerful explosion shook the floor, and everything began to explode in confusion. The ground trembled violently beneath our feet.

The gates which were our final barrier protecting us suddenly burst into flames filled with strange and ghostly energy. They shattered dramatically, causing a huge blast.

Pieces of debris and fragments of stone fell down from the explosion, bombarding everything below.

This affected those who were taking stands on the ramparts. They lost balance and tumbled to the floor like broken puppets that were cast aside carelessly.

We crashed with a heavy thud and I could feel the impact as it shook my bones, but miraculously, not a single person was hurt in any way. As I took a second to collect myself and regain my grip, I observed that my breath got stuck in my throat once again.

The gates that had once stood strong and secure had been completely blown apart, and now the wild wolves were rushing through the large opening that used to keep us safe.

'Adams!" I exclaimed with surprise and fear in my voice. I struggled to get back on my feet thinking about just how serious and dangerous our situation was.

'We absolutely have to push them back!" he shouted loudly, his voice filled with a sense of urgency and determination. There was a fierce intensity in the way he spoke.

As he moved closer to me, I saw him now fully in his wolf form, and it was clear that Ted was full of power.

Taking a deep breath, I decided to let Lexi take over me too.

With a determined spirit, she announced 'It is time for us to reclaim our home." Her voice was full of courage.

She ran quickly toward the fierce fighting, standing next to Ted.

My heart was racing with excitement as I watched her display her ability.

She jumped into the mass of wolves fighting. And by instinct, she kicked in, and charged right into the middle of the conflict, feeling the heat of the action all around her.

'Defend our pack!" I heard Ted roar as they all moved in unison, facing the crowd of attackers with their teeth and claws out.

A rogue attacked Ted, but he quickly grabbed and bit its neck with accuracy, before flinging it aside. Lexi did the same, as she brought down one of the rogues that was coming for her.

Every clash was a wild fight for survival as our groups collided, with wolves' howling bodies tumbling, blood soaking the ground.

'I can't believe this is going on, Lexi!" I said to her, boiling with anger as I saw the rogues storm our land. 'Ben has gone too far."

'I understand! But we will stop this!" she snarled, knocking a rogue back with a quick swing of her paw…
