He gripped my neck,dragged me toward the bedroom.
As the door opened,an arm swung at Ethan's head.

Ethan stumbled back and fell onto the floor.
"Noah?!"
"Why're you here?!What's your deal with her!"Ethan's face darkened with each word,he could kill with his gaze.
Noah steadied me,panting.I noticed he was shirtless.
"Gilr, this is the surprise you promised me when you aksed me to wait in bed?"
Each word gritted out,Noah pinched me.
None of this made sense.

My brain went blank,hoping their clash wouldn't involve me.

Noah,unhurried,checked first to make sure I was unharmed,then said darkly,"We'll settle later."

Ethan's face twisted,turning to me."Lily,I told you,don't cause trouble!"
Before I could speak,Noah scoffed."She's already avoiding trouble.Trouble came to find her."
"Noah,think your little games threaten me?You're only gonna look up to me and feed on my scrapes.If I don't let go,you get nothing."
I heard Ethan's bones creak.
Noah didn't glance."I'll outlast you."

The air screamed of murder.
As I feared a fight,Noah leisurely focused on me.
Ethan trembled with rage,his glare ready to tear Noah apart.

A shrill female voice screamed,"Lily!Give Ethan back to me!"
Strangely,relief washed over me.
Chloe's gorgeous blonde hair was disheveled,making her small face even more pitiful.
Only I caught a flash resentment in her eyes.

She wrapped her arm around Ethan’s.
Ethan gave a shudder all over,his shokck turned into unspeakable grief.
He looked at me,pleading.
I froze.Why did he look wronged?
With effort,he pulled free,voice weak.
"Why're you here?"
"To take you home!"Chloe, persistant, tried to slip an arm around Ethan’s waist."Who knows what vixen's gonna steal your soul!"
Noah raised a brow."Uncle,go with your lady.Stop being an eyesore."
Ethan resolved,pushing Chloe away.
"I'm not going."
