Sophie,behind him,sobbed:”Lucas, I’m so glad you believe me and protect me.”
She looked at me with a sorrowful expression. “Jenna,II got a concussion because of you, but I didn’t plan to hold it against you. Why are you still forcing me? Just because I’m young, excellent, and beautiful, are you jealous of me and want to harm me at every turn?” She cried pitifully.
Lucas wiped her tears,turning to the police.
“You’re being used by Jenna.She lies—99 of 100 words are false.Even as my wife,I won’t cover for her.She crashed into a truck on purpose,concussing Sophie,and now she’s filing false reports.Arrest her!”
They played off each other and tried to convict me, thinking it would be just like before.
But this time, it was the police handling the case.
It wasn’t as simple as them just talking and smearing me with false accusations The police stepped forward,stating they had evidence of Sophie’s crime and would take her to the station.
She cried,refusing:”Lucas,save me!There’s no dashcam in the car, and there’s no surveillance on that road either.
