It was Melissa's hearing and Sapphire went with almost all her friend, Luci, Tiara and Gladys, Claire was absent because she had something she needed to do at the gallery and Trisha had once again been asked to do some humiliating task by her mother-in-law, Sapphire hopes that she would be able to break free from their abuse soon and would stop at nothing to help, Tiara also assured that if they interfere in it, her in-laws would not do as much as grunt but Trisha would only smile and say that it was not yet time to make such a move, she wanted to wait till climax before executing which made Sapphire suspect that the woman has something up her sleeve.
She continued to stare at Melissa and couldn't help the bitter sign that left his lips when hatred flashed in her eyes. Even at the lowest of Melissa's life, she still had the energy to hate her, it was a miracle on itself that she was given a death sentence, she had a lot of charges pressed against her except from the prominent which were orchestrating an attempted murder against her sister and three other women of rich family, as well as murder of her uncle, Felix Conrad.
Their mother and father were nowhere to be seen and while Sapphire didn't expect much from their father, she didn't expect that her smother wouldn't do all things possible to get Melissa, after all, she had always pronounced Melissa her favorite daughter.
They only stopped at each other when Melissa was led away by the officer after the judgment was passed.
'I am still surprised that she wasn't given a death verdict," Tiara said as they walked to the car and both Gladys and Luci nodded in agreement.
'A life imprisonment is really a mercy from the judge's side, I am afraid that if anyone even bothered to interfere, that was the most that she could be pardoned. She killed her fucking scum uncle, even though it is scum cleaning scum, it was still her uncle nevertheless, and didn't she felt any familial bond?" Gladys said and Luci just shrugged.
'Familial bond? You of all people should have known that those things, if they ever existed at some points, are now dead. She definitely didn't feel any of that when she ordered someone to run over her sister's car."
'Isn't that car here to pick you?" Luci asked, pointing to the black Lamborghini that was parked in the distance and Sapphire checked her wristwatch before she nodded.
'Yep. That's for me, I need to scram, girls. Talk to you later." She said, blew kisses at them and hurried to the car.
'Where is she off to in a hurry?" Tiara asked, curiously, Sapphire had entered the car and it was out of the court premises in a blink of an eye.
'Oliver woke up." Luci said simply.
'That scum shouldn't have woken up, he should have been stuck there." Gladys said, and curled her lips in distaste.
'Then he would continue resting without getting the punishment he deserves for being an ass. I am sure that he would definitely have betrayal on the top list of emotions he has to battle with." Tiara said and Luci raised a brow at her in confusion. 'I heard that Old Theo is trying to wash his hand away from the grandson's case before he wakes up, so he would turn him in to the cops. I think he wants to get a list of all his bribes and crimes and submit it to the head prosecutor."
'Would he really do that?" Gladys said in surprise.
'Of course, he would in order to save his skin. Oliver is not the only male guy he has in the Gray family, he would just pick up another son and turn him into a dog, this time, the dog would be loyal than the former and wont dream of causing the old man any trouble while they were at it. Don't doubt that old wrinkly man one bit, he is as shrewd as they come." Luci said.
'Look over there! At your two o' clock. I guess my father was right about his news. What luck that we would get a glimpse of this," Tiara said and pointed her hand in the direction where the Patriarch of the Gray family was talking to the head prosecutor.
'The source of the news is your father?" Luci asked and Tiara nodded.
'Mn." Tiara said.
'Too bad for Oliver." Gladys said, they stared at the man that kept laughing with the Chief Prosecutor.

The door was opened for Sapphire and she found herself inside the suite that was used for Oliver's treatment, she headed straight to the inner room where Alexander was standing with Zayn, they wordlessly observed Oliver who was staring up at them with wide round eyes.
Sapphire felt that something was wrong, Oliver glanced at her when she entered but she couldn't read any emotion on his face, there was no hatred or anything, at least, the Oliver she knew would have sneered out a narcissistic comment about how super he is to survive after everything they did, he also won't be sitting calmly like this.
Normally when things were out of his control he would turn to his grandfather, so he would have been making an effort to connect to his grandfather, there is the strange fact that he wasn't cursing Sebastian and Shirley out too.
He sat there on the bed and stared at Zayn and Alexander while they stared back as if they had entered some sort of staring competition.
'Hello guys. What is going on?" Sapphire asked. 'Why are you just standing here?"
'I am ruminating on how useless this darn guy has become. Even getting some revenge on him at this point would be useless since it would not bring any satisfaction." Zayn was the one that answered her and Sapphire arched a brow at him.
'Who are you?" She heard beside her and it was Oliver that just asked that question. She whipped her head so fast that it was a surprise that it didn't fall off her neck.
'W…What the heck?" Sapphire said, she was staring at Oliver with an expression that screams how weird that question is. 'Don't… don't … don't..." She stuttered with wide eyes and Zayn nodded.
'Yes. Your darling dearest just tossed out his fucking memories. Oliver has lost his memories and the doctor said that it is only through miracle he can get it back. Like tell me. What are the freaking chances?"
'Shit." Sapphire said, she glared at Oliver intensely and the man smiled at her instead. She scoffed at him in disbelief and he shook his head in amusement.
'I feel like we would get along well." He said and Sapphire just continued to glare at him, it seemed like he was a movie that went back to the beginning. Those were the same freaking attitude and words that he told her when they first met when they were teens.
'This is creepy." Sapphire muttered but Oliver only chuckled which made Zayn scoff, Alexander just continued to stare at him blankly.
'Can I bash his head back to hell, since there is nothing there anymore, might as well send him to meet the devil. Why the fuck did you even spared him anyway?" Zayn said in anger.
'What would you like to do to him Sapphire?"
'What more could I possibly want to do to him anymore, it would be interesting only if he remembered all the shits he had been up to."
'Those shits couldn't be that bad, can they?" He asked, and cocked his head to the side with arrogance. He had already figured out that the last memories are not his last actions, he had figured that he only have chunks of his memories and there was a lot of blank spaces in his head that he wasn't able to fill up, and he was annoyed to the core, the only option he had is seeing his grandfather, he remembers quite a lot about the man.
'You know what? Get my grandfather here and I would spare all of you. That man would have turned the earth upside down already, let him know that I am safe and sound here. Then, Maybe I would spare you and give you some rewards? How does a fully paid trip to Paris sound?"
'The nerve of this asshole! Now I really feel like killing him." Zayn said.
'What do you want to do Sapphire?" Alexander said, he was the only calm one in the room.
'I don't know! Just do whatever you think would hurt him the most? I am out of here, I would go and rant some more to the girls." Sapphire said.
'Then the cops should come and take him," Alexander said and Sapphire whipped around to look at him.
'What?"
'You are going to make the claimed against him by yourself?"
'Why would I do that? His almighty grandfather had already submitted a list of all his crimes and bribes to the prosecutor office, they are searching for him and they didn't advance here because he is under my hold. The list the old man collected is enough to assure him a lot of years in prison, then we would press charges too." Alexander explained, he talked like Oliver wasn't present in the room with them.
'Wa …wait… you can't do that! You can't press charges against me for something I have absolutely no memories of!"
'You think I would let you off easy because you don't remember?" Alexander asked. 'That's the worst form of punishment. Suffering the consequences of actions you don't remember is one of the worst feeling, especially when the suffering goes on for an entirety."
Zayn and Sapphire said before nodding in agreement, a large smile appeared on Sapphire face.
'I could kiss you right now." Sapphire gushed.
'Nothing is stopping you," Alexander said and Sapphire jumped on him, pressing her lips firmly against his while she wrapped her legs around him, and kissed both of them till they were both breathless.
