'I doubt that Oliver knows that she is alive, if he knew then, he had definitely not told his wife, but I am eighty person sure that none of them know about it," Luci said from where she sat on the bean bag, munching on some sort of weird snacks, facing the rest of the women sitting in the living room.
Both Andrea and Andrew were in their kids doing their homework, for reasons that Sapphire doesn't know, not that she is complaining about it, it allows them the time to discuss without their interruption.
'Tell that doctor to find out if Heather knows about her sister being alive," Claire said and they nodded.
'Is her presence good luck to us or bad luck? I don't want to get involved with another person too," Alicia said, her head was tilted in thought.
'Only time would tell, won't it?" Sapphire said calmly and they all nodded in agreement.
Luci's phone dinged and she checked it before staring at Sapphire and the rest.
'What's wrong?" Sapphire asked, when she kept staring into space.
'Oliver just arrived at his condo with a friend of his that just arrived in New York today," Luci said and they urged her to continue. 'I don't know if you know this man but his name is Sebastian Peterson," she added.
'That's a pretty long name he has right there," Alyssa commented and Alicia nodded.
'Sebastian? That was Oliver's best friend when we used to date, he is Oliver's best friend and I dare say that he is the only one that Oliver listens to, they are as thick as thieves," Sapphire said.
'They may be really thieves." Claire added.
'They seemed to want to discuss something important and they would discuss it in that ridiculous bar of his, do you want to listen too?" Luci asked and they nodded.
'Put it on speaker," Sapphire said and Luci nodded before moving closer to the middle of the room with her snacks and the bean bag.
She placed the phone on the table and pressed play.
'When did you manage to get a recording device in his bar?" Alicia asked, staring at the phone that was playing the pleasantries exchanged by Oliver and Sebastian.
'When he took me to his house for testing and scrutinizing. I just took advantage of the little visit, nothing bad," Luci said with a shrug and Alyssa just rolled her eyes at her.
'Advantage your ass!" Alyssa said.
'So getting down to business Oliver. I have not been able to wield Zayn away, I know that he is loyal to Alexander or something but it seems like he has got only his eyes on me. I haven't involved myself with you for the past months. The only time she saw me was probably at that time I saw her at that restaurant and I dropped dead from her sight," Sebastian's voice rang out making all of them become silent. 'He is giving my boys one hell of a problem and it is ticking me off.
Have you done something to annoy him in one way or the other?"
'Annoy him your ass, they don't even know that I am involved in our dealings. You are our face while I am the cool businessman to all of them," Oliver argued.
'I don't think so, something is wrong?" Seb disagreed. 'Is there someone who is aware of your identity that you know of?"
'Not that I am aware of. I doubt even Zayn and Alexander knows, tell you what Seb, I cover my track very well, it would take a lot of digging around to get something, you are well aware of that," Oliver answered.
'Think of something, he couldn't be onto us without any reason. You don't want me to start listing the things and people I have lost to him now, do you want me to?" Zayn asked in frustration and Oliver sighed.
They both sat in silence for a bit, the occasional thud of their glass on the table filling the silence.
'There is only one person I can think of," Oliver said and there was a pause for a bit. 'Madam Emiliana."
'That nosy Matriarch of the Conrad family? Didn't she die? I heard the news of her death just before I landed in the country," Seb said.
'Yeah, she is dead. So there is a probability that she told Sapphire about it, they are close," Oliver said and all of them raised their heads to look at Sapphire.
'Even though I was aware of his dirty dealings before grandmother died, I have to say that he used her brain there, grandmother did tell me in the letter she left that he is a dangerous man who is dirty both inside and outside," Sapphire said.
'That's it! I am sure that she told her about it," Sebastian exclaimed.
'Sapphire definitely found some sort of thing to cook up to Alexander in order to make him turn Zayn to us like this." Oliver added.
'Maybe she didn't. If she cooked up some story like you said, we wouldn't be breathing right here. Maybe Zayn still hates us for that trick we pulled last time when we upset him over a little deal and is giving us payback," Zayn said and there was a slam which made all of them jump a bit.
'What the hell was that?" Luci asked.
'What is that sound?" Alyssa asked with a frightened expression.
'Why the fuck did you slammed your hand on the table like that?" Zayn asked in a tone laced with annoyance.
'We are both annoyed, Seb. That damn Oliver is so freaking irritating," Claire said in irritation.
'Oh, sorry. Right! There was that one time we irked him a bit, but that was almost a year ago. Why the hell is he still angry? He wasn't even angry when that happened," Oliver said in disbelief.
'He wasn't angry then but he is angry now, it doesn't matter the time, what matters is his anger," Zayn replied. 'We would have to take care of that troublesome ex-fiancé of yours and that fiancé of yours so useless that I want to slam my head on the wall.
How did you manage to always select the worst of them all? They are all headaches." Zayn asked.
'It is not my fault that Heather suddenly became dumb, you also complimented her when you first met her, you said and I quote. She is the kind of badass every man needs."
'What badass? She is more of a dumbass!" Luci said with a scoff.
'She is a dumbass!" Seb replied and they all wriggled their brows at Luci.
'What?"
'How about you go after Seb? Both of you are in sync," Alyssa said with a smirk and Luci threw the pack of the snacks she had finished eating at her.
'Sync, my foot. I would rather die than associate myself with such jerks!" Luci exclaimed and they all laughed at the utter disgust on her face, her mouth was pulled in such a way you would do if you tasted something rotten.
'First, it was a dumb girlfriend who suddenly became smart and is trying to make a name for herself, a name that is bigger than you, you injured her in every way possible, physically, mentally and emotionally" Zayn said, both Alicia and Alyssa raised her head to glance at Sapphire who still had her signature calm expression on her face. 'Then it is a badass girlfriend who suddenly becomes an ass after she starts getting your dick, she even becomes worse when you put a ring on her finger, too dumb to the extent that she is dragging down your gentleman image. What do you plan to do with her?" Zayn asked.
'I don't even know what I should do to her for the time being. That woman discovered something she shouldn't have and it is good that she had forgotten about it, I am just keeping her in the prison for the meantime."
'Since you don't have a plan, I would draft up a meticulous one that would wipe away both women one and for and after that, you are only allowed to take someone for the sole purpose of pleasuring you only and you must inform me about it, so I can approve of them, I don't trust you anymore. Your eyes had that irritating ability of making the worst of them pleasant to your eyes," Zayn said and there was a thud that signaled him dropping his glass on the table.
'What the fuck are they up to this time?" Alyssa wondered in irritation.
'You just get me a day when Heather's schedule is clear. A day in the month that is absolutely sure that she won't be getting a visitor, we are dealing with them in one clean swoop. I am sure that the plan won't fail or have any loophole to point back at us.
Going through with your former nonsensical plan of yours to brand her as a trafficker won't work as fast anymore. She might end up rattling her mouth off to Alexander before we finish even the first stage of the plan.
It is better to go with a cleaner and quicker one like man and end this once and for all." Seb said before they started talking about some illegal deals, Luci turned off the device.
'What if they later say something important?" Alicia asked.
'I am sure that Zayn is listening to all that jargon they are saying, besides, I made sure that it is recording the conversation, that the spying device is high tech. Zayn made sure of that," she said, shaking her phone in the air and they nodded.
'So what is going on with that plan of theirs? They can't be up to something good," Alyssa asked in concern.
'I would tell Mike to tell that female detective in charge of Heather's case to find out the day she would be absolutely free, no visits, no duties, we can start from there," Sapphire answered.
'I would find some way to get under Sebastian's skin, maybe get a spy on him. I am sure that the guy is up to no good, he is their face in the underworld, he is also the evil brain behind Oliver and that creepy grandfather of his. The grandfather is the authority that holds everyone in their circle firmly, he is the authority and leader while Oliver is their face in the corporate world," Luci informed.
'Since you started hanging out with Zayn, you have started behaving more like the people in his circle," Claire said with a teasing smirk and Luci only rolled her eyes at her.
'I get that you are finding information and taking actions but what do we plan to do in particular?" Alicia asked.
'Forget about not letting Miranda get close. We are going to get the Smiths involved through her," Sapphire said with a smirk and they stared at her in confusion before realizing what she was trying to do.
'You don't mean . . ." Alyssa trailed off and Sapphire nodded.
