Chapter 112: Here Comes The News

Venita entered the house and praised the skies when she met her grandmother sitting on the couch in the living room. She was just lucky that she was sitting where anyone could hear what she was about to tell her.

Her pride won't let her go and start yapping to her uncle who she hates or her cousins who she despise nor her despicable aunt who she just hopes slips and falls out of the window.

'I supposed you haven't heard of the latest development or you wouldn't be relaxing here like it is the time of your life, grandmother," Venita said but Madam Emiliana did bother to spare her a glance.

Marylynne, who just came down from her room upstairs, stopped on the stairs and watched the reaction between Venita and the old woman.

The old woman didn't seem to be interested in whatever news she brought with her and Venita restlessness shows that it is an important and exciting news but judging by both of their expressions.

Madam Emiliana won't ask and Venita won't tell if she won't ask, Marylynne just happened to be curious and she would make the brat spit it out, whether it is important or not.

'Get out of my face, Venita. I am quite busy right here," Madam Emiliana told her and Venita scoffed.

Marylynne walked to the couch beside her mother in law and sat, relaxing her whole being.

'Your latest development may not have that much of a meaning, compared to all the nonsense that is going on about you and Oliver, I doubt if any news would be bigger than that," Marylynne said, her main tactic is to rile Venita up.

'What the hell are you talking about right now?"

'I heard from some ladies when I went shopping at that new mall in town, you know that expensive one with all the things you need in one place. It practically feels like heaven, you should have seen the clothes I bought there it was like—"

'Did they offer you a discount if you managed to get some members of your family to come? Why the hell are you ranting about some stupid mall I don't want to know about? Stop dilly-dallying and get straight to the point!" She snapped at Marylynne and she paused mid words.

Venita must be really angry that she is not getting the old woman's attention, she seemed to have forgotten that's what would happen when dragged the witch back from the hole she went to hide in.

'The Smith family went to visit Heather in prison and said something is awfully wrong with their daughter, said that they would do some Investigation of some sort," Marylynne replied and Venita could feel her heart slam hard against her ribcage as she remembered the image of Heather on the bed with blood all over her head, cold sweat formed in her palm.

'And what have I got to do with that?" Venita asked, not stuttering one bit.

'Her sister suspects that you are the one that is now in a relationship with Oliver now, probably his new fiance and you are the one stopping him from getting Heather out of that place," Marylynne said and told a maid to get her a cup of tea.

'That has got nothing to do with me!" Venita exclaimed but Marylynne only shrugged.

Venita glanced at her grandmother but the old woman was still not paying any attention to them, she seemed to be super busy with her paperwork.

'All of you have always been curious who the father of Sapphire's kids is, well I have the answer right here with me," she said, raising the envelope to their face.

Marylynne stared at the envelope in Venita's hand in utter curiosity and Venita could see that the attention of the old woman had been piqued.

'What? How did you know about that? Did you overheard her talking to one of ‘her own'?" Marylynne asked.

Felix was on the stairs that was on the right side of the living room while his son was on the left, they both stopped when they heard that Venita had the name of the kids' father.

Maxwell was plain curious about who it was, the person who was the owner of those lovely twins and the asshole that abandoned Sapphire with the kids while Felix thought that it would be a good idea to know the man in order to do a deep background check on it.

His men were not able to dig anything out, he wondered how on earth this useless girl got anything tangible, she seemed to have proof with her too.

'Believe me when I say it, the father of those kids is Oliver!" She exclaimed and all the people present in the room suddenly lost interest in what she was saying.

'Everyone knows that you and Oliver and both in cahoots, you want us to believe that, you are not talking to a bunch of dumb idiots sweetheart," Marylynne said with a scoff while Madam Emiliana just went back to what she was doing.

'I know that it would be your reaction right now, so I have proof of it with me right here," Venita said and opened the envelope, she gave a copy to Marylynne and another to Madam Emiliana.

'Oh My!" Marylynne screamed dramatically. '99.9 percent match?"

Madam Emiliana just scanned the details on the piece of paper before raising her head to stare at Venita.

'There's such a thing as a fake copy of this you know," she said and Venita scoffed.

'I assure you that is real! You can contact the doctor yourself, nothing was fake. There's no one Oliver would have 99.9 percent match with except his child, the comb he showed me was the one I once saw with the kids one time I had a program at their school, it is theirs and they won't give it to anyone," Venita explained.

Maxwell scoffed in disbelief, that is impossible, Sapphire is not stupid enough to have a baby for Oliver, twins at that.

Felix squinted his eyes at his niece, that is not possible. He confirmed himself that she truly lost the child before he discarded her at the hospital, the doctor said she can't carry a child in her womb anymore.

It was a miracle that the child that was miscarried was alive and well in her prior to her miscarriage, her chance of giving birth to a child is 0.0000 percent, absolutely no chance.

His eyes lit up in happiness, he wondered why hadn't he thought of this before, he finally found a way to pull Sapphire down from her high horse, if she wanted to last long in the Aldines' household, she would need him to keep his mouth shut.

'Seems like it would not be hard to get that Manager's position off her mind," he muttered to himself, a happy gleam in his eyes.

Emiliana stared at the paper with doubt, while she didn't want to believe Venita, it wasn't something that Sapphire can't do, her granddaughter had the guts it takes to do that.

She would have to phone and that she did but she was not reachable.

'She is probably spending her minutes explaining to Alexander how the kids turned out to be Oliver's." Venita said.

'That whore! She had the guts to do that? Wow! The Aldines hate lying and pretentious bitches the most, she is so dead!" Marylynne said with a scoff.

Arielle who was standing at the top of the stairs stared at all of them with a blank face.

'Ignorant Pricks!" She said before walking away.
