It is not like she stood a chance against them, Alexander said it loud and clear that they were going on a date.
Except for the cheers she got when she informed them that some people would be coming from Triple A, all she got through her explanation was wriggled brows and dated jokes.
'I wish whoever I date would learn from Mr. Alexander, I would also like a date in Switzerland," Candy said.
'Not everyone is lucky like Sapphire, you should be content with what you have," Mira replied.
'No, I told you.." Sapphire tried to refute her claims.
'Right, it is Monaco," Candy corrected herself and Sapphire just gave up but she supposed that she should be happy that they are taking this positively, it is better than a negative reaction, right?
'Wow, SJAY is not nearly bad, I supposed I could say the architectural design is nice," They heard someone say and they all turned to see Alicia, Alyssa and Ruby standing at the door.
'OMG! Is that Ruby???" Katie asked with wide eyes, staring at the man standing behind Alyssa.
'That is the CEO of that new cosmetics company that sent Mr. Gray into panic the other time," Craig said, pointing to Alyssa.
'I think that it is thanks to her that we were able to know the kind of person Mr. Gray is before he successfully sent us away. We owe her one," Katie said and the rest nodded.
'Hi there," Alyssa greeted and Sapphire smiled at her.
'Alyssa," Sapphire replied with a surprised smile. 'What are you all doing here?"
'You got your company back and you are reorganizing and renovating it, we shouldn't miss the chance to check it out," Ruby replied and the rest nodded.
'And I heard from Nate that Alexander is here," Alicia replied.
'But I don't see him around, usually when he is where you are, he is attached to you at the hips," Alyssa said, looking around.
'Yeah, he came to invite Sapphire on a date to Monaco," Candy answered before Sapphire could talk. 'So she had him stay put somewhere."
'It must feel so damn good if a man like that listens to you all the time, that when you would really feel like a queen," Belle added and Mira chuckled while Katie rolled her eyes at them, Sapphire mentally facepalm.
'Wait, What? You guys are going to Monaco?" Alyssa asked Sapphire with wide eyes.
'Why haven't we heard of this, were you going to go secretly?" Alicia asked.
'Don't bother yourself about it. Alexander just informed me, "I am as shocked as you guys are," she told them with a wave of hand and they nodded.
'Wow, it is good to be rich, they seem bothered more about the fact that they don't know than the fact that it is a DATE in MONACO," Katie whispered to her colleagues and they nodded in agreement.
'That's what makes us different," Jace said, curtly.
'Who are your friends by the way?" Ruby asked with a smile and both Belle and Candy swooned.
'Uhm..This is Belle, Candy, Katie, Jace and Craig, they are my colleagues here" Sapphire said pointing at them one after the other while nodding with a wave. 'This is Mira, we go way back to when I still worked with Oliver, she was the last survivor of Oliver's sacking hiatus," she added pointing to Mira who just nodded.
'Nice to meet you guys," Alyssa said with a smile and they smiled back at her.
'I see that all of you are gathered here, that's good it saves me the strength of looking for you one after the other," They heard beside them and they saw Oliver standing some inches away from them with a brown envelope in his hand.
The smile on Alyssa's face dropped at an alarming speed while Ruby already had a glare on his face, Alicia and Sapphire managed to keep a straight face and blank expression but it is obvious that none of them like the man.
The employees also had a frown on each of their faces, it wasn't pleasant seeing this selfish man who would do anything to establish connection and get money.
Mira was staring at the crazy man with fire in her eyes, she could finally settle scores with the selfish man, she thought she would never see him again, it is so nice of him to come here himself.
'Do you think you are welcome here? Why don't you get the fuck out before the guards are called on you? You won't want to embarrass yourself," Ruby told him with clenched jaws.
He absolutely hates this man, he thinks that he must be crazy for supporting her relationship with the man three years ago, he even got into an argument with his grandmother over her hatred for him.
'After how much of an embarrassment he is himself, I don't think that anything can embarrass him," Alyssa replied snarkily.
'What the fuck are you doing here Oliver? Do you want me to inform your grandfather for trespassing?" Sapphire asked and Oliver scoffed at all of them.
'I came here to claim ownership of my kids," he replied calmly and both Alicia and Alyssa started chuckling, he stared at the crazy women and snorted. Did they think that he was joking?
'Hold on Oliver," Sapphire said with amusement in her eyes. 'Did you suddenly go blind? This isn't an orphanage, a school or a lost but found center of an amusement park or mall, I don't see any kid running around with tears in their eyes, looking for their father."
'You know too damn well what it is that I am talking about!" Oliver snapped at her, annoyed that the woman was making him out like a crazy man.
'I don't know what you are talking about Oliver, and frankly speaking, I don't want to know, you can kindly fuck off, going through back the way you came in," Sapphire replied nonchalantly, and her colleagues stared at her in admiration.
'Finally, I see the reason why Mr. Alexander is head over heels for her, she is fearless, with or without her man," Katie said.
'I am not sure if I can ever stare at the man who did to me what he did to Sapphire straight in the eyes if I ever meet him, accolades to her," Candy added.
'Of course, you won't want them to know, it is a secret you must take to your grave. Too bad I know about it already,"
'Secret? Grave! What is this crazy man about?" Ruby asked, staring at the psycho who just wanted to be killed in disbelief.
'I am the twin's dad, you are not going to deny that would you?" Oliver asked and Sapphire stared at him in disbelief but Oliver mistook it for shock. 'Andrea and Andrew's father is me and you know that!"
Most of the employees gasped in surprise, Alyssa and Alicia stared at Sapphire for confirmation and Ruby just stared at him like he finally went crazy.
'Are you on drugs?" Sapphire asked and scoffed.
'Don't say shit!" Oliver yelled at her, throwing the envelope at her. Sapphire opened the envelope and saw that it was a DNA test between Oliver and the kids and it was a match.
99.9 percent match.
Sapphire furrowed her brows in confusion, what nonsense is this?
'How on earth did you get my kids' sample, don't tell me that you have been stalking them," They heard behind them and they all turned to see Alexander standing there with his hand crossed over his chest.
Katie thought he looked too relaxed for a man whose kids were just claimed by another man, his level of trust in his wife is very deep.
'Didn't you hear what I just said?" Oliver asked. 'I said that I am the kids' father."
' I expect a proper answer from you, how did you get my kids' sample?" Alexander asked with a raised brow.
