"And here I thought that you didn't want to get married to him, you are already moving into his place," Emiliana said smiling to herself as she sipped her tea, it must be the kids that she just learned about pulling that string. She loves her grandchildren already even though they are a mystery to even her. If she thought Sapphire hid herself well, she doesn't know what to think of how she hid her children, nothing came up on them when they were searched up.
"I'm almost regretting telling you, are you also going to do this as well?" She groaned and Emiliana smirk grew wider.
"Also? Did you tell someone else?" Marylynne asked and the older woman had to stop herself from physically face palming.
Is she Stupid enough to think that she would be the first person her daughter would tell if something happens to her? She lost that chance when she started favoritism between her two children.
"Why did you think that she would tell you that?" Emiliana sneered and Marylynne scoffed.
"Let it rest," Sapphire said. "Now that I told you what I wanted to tell you, I will take my leave, I don't think I have time for thoughtless bickering," she said and walked out of the room leaving Marylynne angry and an amused Emiliana.
She was not sure if moving to Alexander's place is a good decision, yes, it's close to her new workplace, the mansion will probably be more spacious than their house, the kids will have access to many things, that damned industry will find it easier to believe their cock and bull story and it will make the kids have a father figure.
The pros are greater than the cons but the cons that are there can cost her children childhood.
Alyssa isn't objecting to them moving judging by the fact that Alexander haven't call them to cut off that promise, even though that's practically impossible because he doesn't go back on his words but at the same time Alyssa should have gave a show of some sort like coming to her house to give her an earful.
Alyssa Aldine is practically known as Alexander's favorite, she lives in his house, knows so much about the man and rumors had it that he listens to almost every wish of hers.
She's popular for throwing tantrums and being insulting when she sees someone she doesn't like and she had witnessed that when they went to the Aldine mansion for that breakfast.
Even though she was at a safe distance, she could read the emotions Melissa's face through the actions of her body that she was dumbstruck when Alyssa insulted her at the mansion, she couldn't reply not because she feared the Aldines but because she was speechless and Melissa is almost never looking for sass.
Alyssa doesn't like any of Conrad her age and Melissa didn't leave a good impression on her, she has probably decided that she hates Sapphire also. Alyssa shouldn't judge a book by its cover but Melissa isn't the example of an okay cover.
"And what the fuck are doing standing in front of my door like a dumbo,"
Talk about the devil and he shall pay you a visit.
"Last time I checked, this way leads to my room,"
"Yeah, the WAY not IN FRONT of my door or are you here to beg me to get married to Alexander?" Melissa mocked and Sapphire rolled her eyes.
"Even if I wanted to do that, I won't come to you because you are not on Alyssa's good side, she cracked you up pretty bad last time. And adding to that Alexander is rich and hot, why would I give such a man?"
"Yeah, that's the spirit, show that shamelessness to the whole world and let them see what kind of golddigger you truly are, you two --," she stopped when someone Interrupted her .
"Now you should stop already."
It was Matthew that spoke, he's probably the only person after Grandmother that has the ability to shut Melissa up. His aunt Brielle's son had always supported Sapphire but traveled five years ago and just came back.
"Matthew," Melissa whined.
No one knows the reason but Melissa listens to whatever Matthew tells her, at least almost all, and that is saying something given the fact that she listens to almost nothing.
She always says okay to Matthew and nobody knows why.
"Go," he said and Melissa grumbled before taking the stairs where Arielle was standing staring at Matthew and Sapphire.
"I hate that bitch," Melissa said glaring at her from where she stood.
"Aren't you going to tell Heather that she's back and getting married to Mr. Aldine?" Arielle asked and Melissa shook her head.
"That husband stealer thinks that I am her lackey, she hasn't texted or talked to me since six months after Sapphire went away," she said as she walked to the cellar with Arielle trailing behind her. " Why must I contact her first," she said and went to get some wine at the far corner of the room.
"And you must think that I am your lackey," Arielle said quietly, smirking sinisterly, watching as she decided on which wine to pick. She glared at Melissa with so much hatred, heavens knew that she doesn't Ike the arrogant girl. All Aunt Marylynne daughters are troubled In paradise .
The first daughter is a calm and cool idiot who loves snatching the richest and most handsome men out there, first Oliver and now, Alexander. She left the Conrad family just because she was scolded, turned to the prodigal daughter and came back to get the wealthiest asset they had; Alexander Antonio Aldine.
The second daughter likes to think of herself as sophisticated and in love with someone who in a million years would never turn to her because he is in love with her sister. She goes out there and talks about how wise and fashionable she is.
"Don't worry, she had already contacted me," Melissa said, coming out with a bottle of wine. "After all, her dirty mind can't be at rest now that she knows that Sapphire is bad, her slutty mind would think she's going to take back Oliver," She sat on one of the stools hanging around the place, she collected the glass that Arielle handed her and uncorked the wine.
"And why's that? She already had the man," Arielle said, raising a glass and Melissa poured wine into the glass. They both took a sip and Arielle concentrated on Melissa.
Melissa enjoyed the fact that all the attention was directed at her and took her sweet time to talk, she took the second sip.
"Because we all know that even if Oliver went away for a thousand years, he will be forever wrapped around Sapphire's finger, that's how deep their bond is,"
