"Neither did I," she replied calmly, "not that I expected to see you again," she was clearly unfazed, the air around her was filled to the brim with grace and elegance.
He obviously didn't expect that because he flinched.
Now maybe she made an incorrect thought earlier, netizen are bad and the kind of the man staring at her like she sprouted horns are the worse, he was her ex-fiance best friend and seem to still be, he is a grade one asshole, to think that she once dined and wined with this guy, that thought almost made her hurl.
"You have changed a ton,"he finally said after opening and closing his mouth in order to find the right word but he failed, a bad set of words, logically any word he said was bound to be bad to her ears.
"And you haven't changed at all," she replied back almost immediately and the guy just stared at her, different thoughts running in his head.
"Can you get out of my way or I also need to 'earn' that also?" She raised an eyebrow, the real meaning of those words not lost between either of them.
Whenever she goes to him about her problems with Oliver or how he wasn't giving her any attention, he tells her over and over again that someone's attention had to be earned and like the lovesick fool she was, she would do anything to get Oliver's love.
"Sebastian?" She said tilting her head and that seemed to jerk him out of his reverie he moved out of the way and she moved to the room Alexander booked, leaving Sebastian to wonder what the fuck she wanted to go and do in that suite, it was as expensive as fuck and only a few had the guts to book it.
He took his phone and pressed it for a while before placing it on his left ear.
"Where the fuck are you?" He seethed.
"Woah, chill, what got in your pants and refused to come out," another voice said and judging by the cheeriness, he was having a good time.
"We have important business to deal with, meet me at mine in an hour,"
"WTF! Man, why?" He grumbled and Sebastian rolled his eyes.
"Oliver..." He growled.
"Ok, ok, don't go all macho on me," Oliver said and he could picture him rolling his eyes, "see you in one,"

Sapphire rolled her eyes when she realized that her assumption was correct, she had been standing at the door and she had heard Sebastian call his best friend, bunch of idiots.
She clicked her tongue before making her way to where he sat, the room was gorgeous with all the lights and furniture, the floor, ceiling, walls everything just reek of money, so much money at that.
Furniture being the chair and table which had almost everything you could think of that is edible, it looks like heaven.
"I was wondering how long you would have kept standing there?" He said not raising his eyes from his food and she almost blushed.
"I just did what needed to be done and how is that any of your problems?"
"Because you look like a fool standing there and eavesdropping," he stated and she definitely blushed, this man is rude, she sat and he barely acknowledged her.
"You know nothing," she spat, this is the set of people she hates the most, those who have a way with words.
"Of course I don't know much, but I know that eavesdropping on your ex-fiance best friend is not the first thing a lady who has moved on will do," Alexander said and Sapphire could spot an amused smile on his face, the man was having fun at her expense.
"I have moved on from this guy and this rich world generally, I have left all, including that me, so you know nothing, now keep your mouth shut," she practically seethed and the guy barely stopped what he was doing, apparently, steak is more important than her.
"You left the world but the domain didn't leave you, did it?" He said casually.
"You are still in pain because of what that man did and having to come back home when the wound was still hurting caused you more pain, I mean the wound barely healed, so you put up a font and blame the hierarchy, but you can only take a man out of his world but there's no way you are taking his world out of the man, same goes with you," He was talking about it like he was reading out a grocery list, this isn't that simple, it's something that still burns her up to date.
She hates this man, she dislikes him, she doesn't like him at all and she definitely is not going to like him. He is an unlikeable jerk faced asshole.
Sapphire cussed him over and over in her head, but her mouth is not cooperating with her head.
"The dressing almost said it all, you didn't wear something over the top because you consider yourself out of the world but the world in you can't be found dead wearing a plain cloth like this, so you opted for the limited edition that are not common or trending," he said and she wondered how the hell he knew that, she was utterly speechless.
"Your bag is a limited edition that only five of it exist in the world, your cloth is made by a designer that charge clothes for price higher than that of a car and your shoes is only one in the whole universe," She thought it was said that Alexander is a man of few words but God knows that the man in front of her is a talkative, very different from that man at the airport and at the breakfast, some day ago.
"Now that we dissipated that pent-up anger you came in with, can we get to the matters at hand,"
Now she knows the reason why the man was so successful, he analyzes everything correctly, he knows about the things he wants, he knows so much about that.
"We have to discuss our marriage,"
"We are not getting married," she said curtly as she sipped the expensive wine placed on the table.
Alexander didn't stop what he was doing, he was still eating.
"And why is that?"
"Because I have kids." She said and he stopped abruptly, he raised his head and stared at her in the eyes, that was definitely the first time he gave her his attention since he entered the suite and now it was her turn to be nonchalant.
"What?"
"Yeah, twins at that," she said and there was surprise in his eyes, he was definitely not expecting that, she guessed nobody could know it all after all .
"Your grandmother didn't mention that," Now those intense eyes were on her and it almost felt like she could feel the heat from across the table.
"That's because they didn't know about my babies," she said with voice coated with pride, anybody could see that she loves her kids so much,
"There's also the fact that I may not be able to give birth to children in the future," she said casually and her tone turned sympathetic. " I don't want to force that responsibility on you, we wouldn't want that right?"
