Chapter 3

It told me that Lily Smith was the female protagonist of this world, while my brother was just a supporting male character.
I immediately couldn't sit still. My brother was so outstanding—how could he be just a supporting character?
It then added that my brother wasn't just any supporting character, but one who would pursue love in vain, have his love turn to hatred, and ultimately destroy himself—a tragic ending.
I became even more unsettled. My brother was so brilliant—why should he end up with such a fate?
I glanced at Ethan Shaw again.
He was even more handsome than before, and seemed more mature too.
The system said he was the male protagonist.
Then I had to win him over.
Both to save my brother and for myself.
"Why do you keep staring at me?" He suddenly put down his laptop and turned to look me in the eyes. "Are we that well acquainted?"
I felt a bit guilty, shrinking my neck a little, and mischievously replied:
"We have plenty of time ahead, and I'm easy to take care of. If you're short on cash... I can chip in myself."
He was obviously taken aback for a moment, then smiled once again.
It was then that I suddenly remembered.
He should be as successful as my brother by now.
