"Stephen?" Was he following me all along?

"Can I come in?"

"No."

"You know you can't tell me that." He walked right in.

I just stared at him and folded my arms. What does he want now?

"So....is anyone home?" He said as he looked around.

"No, I'm alone. Stephen, please tell me what you are doing here." I quickly hid the bottle of alcohol but he caught me.

"Hmmm," He nods. "I should be with you bad girl."

"And that can't work. Don't keep your hopes up." I tell him.

"So.... this is still about Patricia?" He digs his hands roughly into his hair. I just couldn't stand the fact that Patricia was making it quite difficult.

I was completely lost as I couldn't take my eyes off his beautiful face.

"Sharon? Hey!" He snapped his fingers.

"Oh! Sorry. My mind was elsewhere. Yeah, that's what I meant." I try to focus back on what he was saying.

"What were you thinking of?" He moved closer to me. I began to move backward until I leaned back on the wall.

"Something." My heart flutters. Why on earth is he tempting me?

"You were thinking about me." He smirks, wishing to know how bad he had affected me.

"Of course not!" I said out loud. Who does he think he is to be playing with my mind?

"You're sure?" He moved more closer, putting a test to my feelings.

"Yeah! What do you think you're doing? I mean what did you come to do here?" I try changing the subject but he was set for one goal.

"As I said, I came for you." He cups my cheeks.

"Stephen I can't be with you." He needed to know things like this can never work.

"I can't force you, Sharon. We both know that we are meant for each other." He kissed my forehead down to my soft lips. My body reacted to his touch against mine. All I knew was I had been craving for this for so long but my betrayal to Patricia keepings haunting me.

"Stephen I can't. I'm not ready." I deny myself from having this moment with him.

"I'm sorry. I didn't......I don't know what came over me." He moved away.

"Stephen," I called him in a sweet and low tone.

"I just want to know that I'm never trying to use you. You're different from every girl I have met."

He tells me.

"I know but I'm confused." These are periods when I want something but I knew it is wrong wanting them. That's me being selfish.

"I swear I want to be with you, not Patricia." He held my hands.

"But..." He shunned me.

"I never liked her like I am with you now. We've been friends since childhood. My parents had a business agreement with them. It disgusts me anytime I think about it. It's never going work out. I'll do everything to end it I promise." He embraced me.

"Okay," I said.

"So does it mean that we are together now!" He released me from his embrace.

"I don't know. Maybe."

"Tell me now. I want to hear you say it!"

"No," I said looking a bit shy. I can't believe I have fallen this hard. I just want him even if it meant taking risks.

"Please...."

"Okay."

"I want a yes." He said back.

"Yes." I pushed him.

"I love you." He tickled me playfully.

"Liar. That's too early." I burst into laughter and we kissed.

"I really mean it, Sharon," I reassure him.

"Well, I love you more than anything." I would say I'm lying because. I would gladly trade anything for food.

"I....." The doorbell rang, distracting us. I forgot my mom said she would be home soon.

"Stephen you need to hide right now."

"No! Why?"

"Please I beg you. Please...."

"Okay, fine. Where should I hide?"

"At the back of the couch."

"I hate this." He grumbled.

"Please..." I went to open the door only to find someone I never expected. Who am I seeing right now? "Eric?"

Carly's Pov

Kyle looks at the menu on the table, wanting to order more dishes.

"Babe what would you like to eat more?"

"I'm okay with the French fries. I don't want to eat much."

He watched me as I ate which made me uncomfortable.

"Babe, are you going to watch me all day long?"

"If I can. let's go have some fun. I don't think you want this but before that, I have something I want you to have."

Please don't let it be a ring! Please...

I opened the small box and saw a necklace in it. Phew!

"It's beautiful," I say.

"I'm not sure about that lady." An unknown lady appeared in front of us.

"Jesse, What are you doing here?" Kyle asked.

"You know her?"

"You know why am here. I have been watching your moves, Kyle. I know you want to fool me her as you fooled us." She says.

"Us? Kyle, what is she talking about?" I asked curiously.

"Nothing relevant.". He answered. "Jesse, not here please."

"Lady, he is going to fool you and take everything you have believe me. I've been down this road. He's a fraud!"

"Kyle, is she right? So is that why you been asking me for money?"

"Babe it's not true. I swear."

"I find it true because I checked your phone last week and I saw some crazy messages. I didn't want to believe it."

"I'm a changed person."

"Screw you!" I left in a rage.

"Thief." Jesse murmured.

"I have been a fool all this time!" I almost ran into a car while I was in my thoughts.

The young man came out of his car. I thought he was going to shout at me but he didn't.

"Are you alright lady?" He asked politely.

"I'm okay." I look up to see a young tall young handsome man in his thirties.

"You're sure?" He lifts me up.
