So when I saw the tall, rain-soaked man standing at my door, I asked uncertainly, "Can I help you?"
He didn't answer. Those amber eyes just stared at me.
Through the downpour, they gleamed with golden light, like a beast's.
Power rolled off him in waves, making me instinctively retreat.
Plus, he was extremely tall—at least six-three. Looking up at him made my neck ache.
I retreated half a step, uncomfortable.
"If you're looking for Sebastian, he's back at his flat. You can contact him there."
I was about to close the door when I heard him laugh mockingly.
