Chapter 25 Humor

"It's okay, Professor. I would be happy if Theo accompanied me on a trip," I said with a smile.

"Okay then. Sorry, Moon, I have to finish my other assignments, so I'm leaving this trip to Theo," said Professor Aria Star apologetically.

"It's okay, Professor. I'll be fine with Theo," I answered sincerely.

Professor Aria Star said goodbye and left the two of us.

"It seems like the professor started to become very busy after that incident, huh?" I asked Theo.

"Yes, the wild bat attack really changed things," Theo answered thoughtfully. "Even we from the vampire clan also have to deal with this. The clan head asks everyone to be honest so they can be forgiven for the problems. But it seems that it is not an easy thing."

"What's wrong with the vampire clan? Shouldn't it be involved?" I asked Theo curiously.

"Do you remember that the vampire clan could have wings like bats during our training? We also often controlled wild bats so they wouldn't attack anyone. But this incident was very suspicious. The death of Professor Aria Star's friend was suspected to be the vampire emperor's dark curse, which can only be used by someone "from a vampire clan with a great level of power. Because of that, the head of the vampire clan doesn't want any problems to escalate, especially since Professor Aria Star is a person who is highly respected by the clan head," Theo explained to me.

I just learned that Professor Aria Star is very respected in the vampire clan.

"Where are we going? Are we staying here?" Theo asked me after listening to Theo's story about the vampire clan and Professor Aria Star.

"How about we take a walk in this park one more time?" I said, smiling brightly.

"Good, that's a good idea. Let's enjoy the atmosphere of this park once again," said Theo, who started pushing my wheelchair towards the park.

"Moon, may I suggest something to you?" Theo said with a serious face.

"What?" I asked curiously.

"I didn't mean to offend you. As you know, Undermoon doesn't seem to accept your existence without magical powers. I heard that when you checked the magical powers in the holy crystal with Lily, the holy crystal didn't show anything. If you have time, you can stop by. "The head of the vampire clan would be pleased if you came to do a magical power check," said Theo attentively.

"Maybe that's a good idea, Theo. I'll consider it. I don't have magical powers, but there's no harm in trying," I answered openly.

"Good! Let me know if you want to check your magical powers at my place. The vampire clan has its own crystal, just like the holy crystal, to carry out magical power checks," said Theo enthusiastically.

Theo and I wandered around the Academy Garden Undermoon. The beautiful view in the garden calmed our hearts and made us closer.

"If you don't have a place to stay, you can visit the vampire clan dormitory. Don't worry. Our dormitory is different from the magicians' dormitory. We don't live in an academic environment. We live in a special apartment," said Theo with a smile.

Theo stopped pushing the wheelchair as soon as he got on the main road to the wizard dormitory, the dormitory Lily lived in.

Slowly, the sun began to sink over the horizon, painting the sky in beautiful shades of red and orange. There was almost no one in the academy Undermoon.

Theo and I parted on the main road of the academy Undermoon. He left with his friends after saying goodbye to me. Now I'm alone under the bright street lamp.

In this clear night sky, the stars shine brightly, and the full Moon decorates the sky with its radiant light.

I can only look up at the sky and don't know where to stay. I thought about Lily after that incident, and I couldn't stay in her dorm anymore. If I stay there, then Gray will definitely hate me completely.

"Hah, what bad luck! I'm baffled about what to do next," I grumbled.

I pushed the wheelchair towards the academy's underfoot, which was quiet. The lights in the academy's hallway started to turn on, slowly brightening the atmosphere. I pushed the wheelchair with great effort, but no one was seen heading towards the library.

The library room will not be locked, and that's the only place I'm going to now. I arrived at the library and was very lucky. As I had expected, the library door was not locked.

I pushed the door as hard as possible until it opened and immediately went inside. The lights in the library room illuminate every corner, revealing rows upon rows of shelves filled with books.

"Excuse me, is anyone here?" I asked in a low voice, looking around to see if anyone was in the library. The quiet atmosphere in the library was only met with silence.

"Oh, okay, there's no one. I'm allowed to stay here for a while, just one night," I said, then went to the corner of the library room and placed my wheelchair there.

I slowly got out of the wheelchair and sat in the library chair, contemplating the situation and looking for a solution to the problem I was facing. I thought there was no other way than to get a magical mirror that could lead me back to the world I came from. But now that I have no money, there are many books filled with mystical powers that I can study. I started spending evenings reading books in the library while holding back my hunger and thirst. Luckily, Professor Aria Star had left a little left of the drink.

I tried filling the water bottle with the magical power of the water element found in several reference books.

"First, reach out your hand towards the inside of the bottle and visualize water flowing rapidly into it," I read one instruction from a reference book. I tried to follow the instructions from the book, visualizing water rushing into the bottle. I tried hard to bring out the magical power of the water element within me. But it is difficult, and the difficulty needs to be explained in the books.
