I nodded my head as a sign that I still remembered them.
"They are selected students, and they can read ancient magical characters. But they are limited to letters of ordinary difficulty, just like me. But you are different. You can understand all types of magical letters, including tough ones. You have extraordinary talent. "I'm used to reading ancient magical letters," said Lily in awe.
"Eh!" I said, surprised to hear Lily's words. "That's impossible! If that were true, I would be one of the few with that ability. But how is that possible? It's a coincidence that I can read magical ancient characters so easily!"
Lily answered firmly, "No, it's not just a coincidence. You have a special talent for reading magical ancient characters. I will take you to meet Professor Aria Star."
I was pleasantly surprised that Lily discovered and recognized my unique talent for reading magical ancient letters. Lily also wanted to take me to see Professor Aria Star, an expert in ancient magical letters and dark curses.
"Really? We're going together? There are some things I want to ask Professor Aria Star," I said enthusiastically.
Lily smiled and nodded. "Professor Aria Star would happily meet you and answer your questions. She has long been looking for someone who has your special talent for reading ancient magical letters."
I feel excited and can't wait to meet Professor Aria Star.
"But why are you suddenly interested in the dark curse book? What has happened?" Lily asked curiously.
"Ah, it's nothing. Nothing happened. I was bored alone, so I walked around the academy to look for something interesting. I saw the library room, so I went in and looked. I accidentally found a dark curse book and was captivated by its contents," I answered casually, trying to hide my true feelings.
Lily looked at me with an unconvincing look. "Isn't that a bit strange?"
I swallowed nervously. "I can understand why you feel strange. But I'm honest, Lily. I didn't do that on purpose. Isn't reading books a hobby? I like reading books."
Lily still looked unsure, but she decided to believe my explanation. "Okay, I believe it. Where do we want to have dinner tonight? Maybe we can try the new restaurant that just opened nearby," Lily suggested.
"Yes, you can. But I'm sorry, Lily. I don't have the money for dinner at a restaurant right now," I honestly admitted.
Lily smiled and shook her head. "No problem. This time I will invite you. Considering your kind heart and your courage to learn new things, I am happy to be able to repay your kindness by having dinner together at the new restaurant."
"Wow, you are very kind, Lily. Next time, I will repay this debt of gratitude," I said with a smile.
"Hahaha...no need, this is not a debt of gratitude. This is a sign of strong friendship between us," said Lily with a smile.
Lily and I went to a new restaurant that had just opened nearby and enjoyed dinner together, chatting about various things. Not long after we arrived, the restaurant was busy with other visitors who wanted to taste the delicious food and pleasant atmosphere. Even groups of vampires and wolves also come here. They were sitting at separate tables and seemed to observe each other suspiciously. However, we didn't care much about it and focused on enjoying our time together.
"Hah, damn it! Why are there always two groups who act strong and intimidate each other," I muttered in frustration.
"Hahaha...I think disputes between these groups are difficult to avoid. Don't worry. If they cause more trouble than necessary, the authorities will take firm action," Lily said while calming me down.
"That means we just need to focus on enjoying dinner and not worry too much," I said with relief.
"That's right. Moments like this strengthen our friendship," Lily continued with a smile. "Moon, I am very grateful to have a friend like you. Would you like to share about yourself with the outside world?"
"Yes, of course. I'm just an ordinary girl who lives in an ordinary apartment alone," I said sincerely.
The restaurant menu arrived at our table, attracting our attention. The restaurant menu looks very appetizing. We started tasting the dishes that were served with great taste.
This new restaurant really serves delicious food and tastes delicious. Apart from that, the restaurant's atmosphere, which combines red and yellow, also adds attraction.
My stomach is full. I stopped eating before my body felt too full and couldn't move freely.
"I am full!" I said, stopping eating.
"Wow, that's a shame. I missed it quickly," said Lily, rushing to finish her food.
Suddenly, one of the members of the vampire group came over carrying a can of soda.
"Miss Lily, how are you?" asked the man while pretending to be interested in Lily.
Lily smiled and answered, "Good news. How about you?"
"I'm very good. Do you have any new friends?" asked the man when he saw me.
"Yes, this is Moon. Moon, this is Sebastian," said Lily, introducing the two of us.
Smiling, Sebastian replied, "Nice to meet you, Moon."
"Yeah, I don't know what to say. But I'm happy to meet you too," I answered quietly, smiling shyly.
"Lily, how are you preparing for tomorrow's match? Have you done your training and prepared your strategy well?" Sebastian asked.
"Oh, don't worry. I've made my own decision. I don't care about winning or losing or even about ranking. You should worry about yourself," Lily answered, looking sharply at Sebastian.
Sebastian took a deep breath and smiled self-deprecatingly. "I don't think there's any need to worry about me and my group. We will all definitely win with the plan we have put together well. I also trained harder this time."
"Yes, I hope you are filled with luck so you win according to your plan. Hopefully, all your efforts and endeavours will produce results that match your plans. I will support you until the end," said Lily.
"Thank you, Lily. It turns out that a witch like you has a kind heart and is full of support," Sebastian replied with a smile.
"Hahaha...just normal. I support everyone who takes part in this match. Hopefully, everyone can achieve victory according to their dreams," said Lily with a smile.
"Hah, gosh! I really expected you to have feelings for me!" said Sebastian, taking a deep breath because he thought praise and support like that was only for Sebastian alone.
