This is the night, that Blake thought it was just an ordinary evening, that he always did sing at the Moonlight Bar. He did not expect will gonna happen next. This is unforgettable night for him, the beginning of his destiny.
"People say that I'm a fool,
Well, I don't know.
At least I found out
What it takes to be strong.
I was dreaming all day long
A drifting cloud,
With eyes wide open
I would choose not to see…"
In one corner of the bar there was Hannah and Ruby drinking; Hannah was upset when Raymond refused her, she never thought that he doesn't feel anything for her.
She and Raymond were together almost every day, he's kind, he's sweet, he always made her happy and she was always taken care of, so she thought that their feelings are mutual. She never expected to hear those words from him, that . . .
"You are just my sister!!! Is he stupid? He only considers me as his sister? Eh, so why he is keep holding my hand everytime we are together, huh?" drunk Hannah said while drinking the wine.
"That's enough Hannah, you're drunk! I will be scolded for that, when your Mom finds out you drank!" Ruby stopped her from drinking.
"I do not care!" then she drank it again in a beer bottle.
"Do you know what is more painful? I am the one who made the confession, I was so stupid! I should not have told him my feelings! Ggrrrhhh! He's bastard! I hate him!! He just made me hope!!!" Hannah said angrily.
"That's enough Hannah, let's go home, it's late." Ruby invited Hannah to go home, but she was still not content and satisfied with her sentiment sitting in their chair.
She noticed the man singing on the stage, she watched the man singing carefully.
He was tall, handsome, wearing a black leather jacket and gray shirt underneath, wearing black ripped jean and with sunglasses.
'Wait, why is he wearing sunglasses?' she asked in astonishment in Hannah's mind.
"Day after day,
Leaving the past behind.
Coming to terms with
Stitches and burns,
And learning to fly again…
Now I don't want to see you anymore!
Don't wanna be the one to play your game,
Not even if you smile the sweetest smile,
Not even if you beg me darling, please."
Anne emptied the entire bottle of beer and suddenly stood up and walked to the stage. Ruby was surprised when Hannah suddenly stand up.
"Hey, where are you going? Come back here." Ruby stopped Hannah, but she just kept walking.
She held Hannah in the arm, but she refused to be hold.
"Hannah, come on, where are you going?"
Until Hannah reached in front of the stage, Blake noticed the drunk woman approaching him, but he just continued his song, while staring at the woman standing in front of him.
"Now, I don't want to see you anymore!
Don't wanna be the one to play your game."
Hannah suddenly stepped on the stage and approached the man singing.
"Not even if you smile the sweetest smile –"
Blake finally stopped singing when he saw the woman standing in front of him, and the band also stopped playing. He though it was just one of his admirers or fans. He looked closely at the drunk woman who could not even stand up still.
She was wearing a loose black shirt and jeans, her hair was long, white skin and with a simple beauty.
She even stepped closer to him before speaking.
"Hey, you! Why are you still wearing sunglasses! It's already night! Stupid! There's no sun light! Remove it now!" then she suddenly removed Blake's sunglasses.
Hannah and Ruby were surprised to see who the man in front of them.
"Wait, I think I know you; I think I saw you somewhere." drunk Hannah said while pointing finger at Blake.
"Oh, really?" Blake nodded.
Ruby also went to the stage and pulled her friend.
"Hannah let's go, it's so embarrassing." Ruby whispered to Hannah as she tried to pull her, but Hannah did not want to go.
"Let me go, I have more things to say!" and suddenly she pulled her hand away and turned back again to the handsome man.
"Hey you! I know you, that such face deceits women!" said Hannah loudly.
"What?!!!" Blake asked in surprised.
"You handsome men, always brings false hope to women, then when they fell in love with you, you will leave! You are so bad! You are shameless!" Hannah shouted angrily.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, she's drunk. What are you doing Hannah, stop it!" Ruby said emphatically, but Hannah still did not listen, she continued to speak hurtfully.
"Handsome people like you, should be buried alive or thrown into hell!" Hannah said angrily as she pointing Blake in the chest.
Blake did not say anything, but just shook his head at what the drunk woman was saying.
"Come on Hannah!!!" Ruby shouted, as she tried to hold Hannah by the arm, but Hannah gone wild.
"No, I will get revenge in this idiot!"
After Hannah said this, she suddenly grabbed the man's leather jacket and pulled it closer to her face, Blake bowed to the woman's sudden action and at that moment their lips pressed together.
Ruby was shocked by what Hannah did, she was dumbfounded and even the people at the bar, she could not believe that Hannah would do it.
"Oh no… is my friend going crazy?" Ruby said dumbfounded, as she watched Blake and Hannah kissed.
Blake smiled and responded to Hannah's kisses, after a while she slowly stopped, stared into his eyes and suddenly release him and step backed away and then walked away from him.
"Let's go!" she whispered to Ruby as she was stunned, Ruby immediately followed her out of the bar.
Blake was left shaking his head, as he watched Hannah out of the bar, he never thought he would meet that kind of woman tonight.
Blake's band mates and audiences screamed because of what happened.
"Yey, Blake has a girlfriend!" one of his bandmates shouted.
"Yey, nice shot!" Henry shouted, his drummer friend.
"Tssk! She's not my girlfriend!" Blake just laughed at their jokes, he asked for a break before continuing to sing.
Meanwhile, while inside the car, Ruby talked to Hannah.
"Hannah, why did you do that?" Ruby asked.
"Which one?" she innocently asked, while struggling to resist drowsiness.
"The one that you did at the bar earlier, why you kissed Blake?" Ruby asked.
"Uhhmm."
But Hannah did not answer and she finally fell asleep, leaning on Ruby's shoulder.
"Hannah, hey… tsk!"
Ruby just shook her head and sighed loudly.
