She turned to her head and felt every single part of her body freeze, she didn't even dare to blink, it would make too much noise and her body was particularly capable of that feat.
Just a foot away from her were giant scorpions, they were huddled together at a spot and were unmoving, her eyes trailed upward and a gasp would have fell from her lips if she didn't have that gag because she saw a snake crawled on the ground into a spot and came out of another opened one, that was when she saw the snake for what it was; a viper.
Cold sweat covered her and her body started shaking in fear, her inability to run her way out of this dangerous ditch also made her terrified, it would be the end of her if she was attacked.
She tried to move back only for back to slam heavily on what seemed like rock and a loud groan fell from her lips, a bit muffled by the gag but that was enough for the dangerous spices.

Her train was cut short when she felt immense pain in her thighs, a scorpion had crawled in there and stung her, she could see more crawling into her prison pants and up her shirt and stinging as they made their way towards her face, the pain she felt shortly after made her vision turn white and tears fall from her eyes and eye redden from the sensation.
They were coming in more quantities and she felt her eyes widen in horror that she knew she had never felt in her entirety of living when one of the viper lunged at her and bit her straight on the face, she could only shake as they covered her.

'As expected, I could say that I am not surprised in the least about this result, look at how confused he was, they were stringing loads of crime upon crime on him with evidence that he done it and he had nothing to say," Sapphire said, nuzzling her head closer to his chest, they just had sex and were both naked under the covers that covered them.
'The judge wanted to give him a death sentence but he had no option than to turn it to life imprisonment in isolation when it was brought up that he had lost his memories." Alexander replied.
'Why on earth did Mr. Theo even snitched on his favorite grandson?" Sapphire asked.
'He wouldn't have done that if he had known that Oliver would lose his memories. Oliver worked together with Sheila and Sebastian to kidnap Arielle without his grandfather's consent, he had been up to no good and maybe the old man wanted to teach him some kind of lesson, so sent him behind bars."
'Too bad now, the old man died of a heart attack this morning and the entire family is in uproar. I doubt if any of them would remember Oliver, he wasn't particularly kind to the rest of the family."
'Theo left almost all the properties to Cassie," Alexander informed her casually and Sapphire whipped her head to stare at him with wide eyes.
'What the fuck?! Why on earth would he do that? Leaving that much to a little girl is freaking dangerous, the whole family would end the girl before she starts her life, it was already too much that her mother is a stripper that is nowhere to be found and her father is a criminal who would spend the rest of his life in prison."
'That's exactly what Theo wanted."
'What?"
'He didn't want Cassie to live, he wanted the family members to help him get rid of her, he had always believed that the girl was impure and unfit to be a member of the Gray family."
'What the hell would happen to her?" Sapphire said, her worry seeped through her voice.
'She is out of the country now,"

'Jamie took her out of the country, I owed her a favor, so she ran to me as soon as the lawyer informed her of the stunt the old tricky man has done, she demand that I help her to hide her baby," Alexander said and Sapphire exhaled in relief before she jumped on Alexander.
'You big baby!" She said pinching his cheek and he stared at her in disbelief but didn't tell her to move away or release him. 'You act like you don't care at all about anyone outside your circle but you definitely meet needs when needed."
'I was only returning a favor,"
'Which you could have declined. I am sure that you tell them that they could turn to you for help anytime, how nice and expected of Mr. Alexander Antonio Aldine." Sapphire said and he only smiled at the happy face she was making.
It was obvious that she was elated that Cassie didn't have to suffer the consequences of getting caught up among the ignorant adults like Amy did, Alexander knew that Sapphire still beat herself up for what happened to the girl.
'You know what? I would grant you a favor because you really please this woman right here, come on. Tell me, what do you want from me? I would do anything, under my capabilities of course." She told him, the man continued staring at her seriously and she nodded with a smile as if to assure him that it is alright.
'Let's have a wedding Sapphire," He told her and she paused to stare at him.
'What?"
'Let's have a wedding," he repeated clearly and firmly.
'Is this your own way of bypassing the fulfillment of boyfriend duties, there is no need to rush, besides we are already married."
'We are, but without rings," he told her and she looked away.
'And whose fault was that?" She asked, staring at his chest intently, tracing circles on it, it was obvious that she was blushing.
This was the real proposal, it felt like one and it was just like Alexander to do this at a time like this, they just got signed the certificate the other day because they needed to sign it.
Now he was asking her this because he loved her, wanted her and most of all, needed her.
He sat up, making her sit upright beside him, the duvet wrapped around her body partly, and he turned to the bedside table, he opened the drawer and removed a deep blue box, he raised it for her to see and she stared at him with anticipation.
He smiled at her before he opened it and inside the box was a simple but beautiful eternity ring that was definitely customized, if she was asked to imagine the kind of ring she wanted it would be something like this. He understood that she would want to have it on her always so she didn't want something so huge or flashy that it would catch everyone's attention as long as she passed by.
Every single part of ring, the bypass shank, and the shoulder was made purely out of diamond but the center stone was sapphire, it shimmered right before Sapphire's eyes, she raised her head to look at the man with tears in her eyes, myriads of emotion coursed through her being but she knows that the most potent feeling was satisfaction and elation.
'Alexander…"
'Marry me, Sapphire. I really mean it this time." He told her and she nodded. She couldn't find the right words to say in that situation. He took her and slipped the ring on her finger, it fitted perfectly – after all, it was made just for her, because of her and only for her.
'Was it expensive?" She asked, staring at the ring in awe.
'Does that matter? No matter how much I spend, I would still feel like it is so small and not worthy of you because you can't be brought. You are priceless but this thing can be priced, I feel like I should look for something priceless too."
'This is priceless too Alexander." Sapphire said, running her fingers gently over his smooth face. 'It contains your love for me and that is priceless too." She told him and pulled her towards herself to kiss him sweetly, she poured her love and joy into it and he met her with equal passion.
'I love you Alexander," Sapphire breathed out after they had removed their lips from each other's.
'I love you too, Sapphire." He told her, and she nodded, he was telling her the truth, she placed her head on his shoulder and she giggled as she fiddled with it gently.
'Do you like it?"
'Mn, I love it a lot. Does my expression not scream that already, I am just afraid that I would damage it or something if I put force on it," She told him and he chuckled.
'So are you choosing the wedding date now?" He asked, turning to her with delight in his eyes which made her giggle. He seems very delighted over the prospect of getting married, she had to admit that her husband is really strange.
'Not after we come back from Monaco." Sapphire said and Alexander deflated.
'What? Why? We could go to Monaco for our honeymoon instead,"he said and she chuckled.
'I knew that you had ulterior motive for doing this now when you could have asked me at Monaco when we are enjoying a romantic moment, you could even plan a rose surprise like in the movies,"
'I didn't know that my wife had turned materialistic."
'What?"
'Tell me. Would you like this moment less if I had asked you with roses all over the ground under the moonlight and a slow music in the background?"
'No, I would have loved it the same way, wouldn't trade this moment for any other. No matter if you ask me to marry me in our room after we had a hot sex, or during a romantic dinner in Monaco, or while we are running away from danger, I wouldn't love the moment any less and would still have the same answer."
'There we are, my sweetheart," Alexander said and pecked her on the forehead.
'How about we have our engagement party next week?" She said with a wide smile and he stared at her in surprise before pulling her in for a hot and sensual kiss.
