She really wished that the glass between them would disappear so that she could give him a knock on the head, she stared down at herself and huffed. She had been forced into a prison uniform and she really did look out of place.
'Someone like Trisha is not capable of doing anything to me. She dares not look up to me in the eyes when in my presence."
'Trisha is weak and Samantha is one of your lackeys but at the moment you are hanging on a guillotine line as it is already. Tiara won't let you off, I have been able to deduce that she hates you. Gladys' in-laws might not want to have anything to do with her but she is well enough on her own, let's not start talking about her own family, it might take a while but they have the ability to erase you from the surface of the earth. If all of them join hands, it would not take them seconds." He ranted off and Melissa stuck her index finger in her ears.
'Shut up, Kelvin. You are so annoying, I almost couldn't feel my ears anymore with all that shouting. Have you forgotten that you are at the station and there are a lot of cops around here?" She asked. 'Tell me. What did you come to do here?"
'You don't believe that I can come to visit you? I am not your damn family Melissa. I came to visit you because I wanted to see you, you are behind the bars for goodness sake." Kelvin said, his frustration was visible in his eyes.
'Alright. When you put it like that, it sounds more concerning," Melissa said, nodding her head and humming a song under her breath which made him exhale heavily.
'Melissa, Venita is dead." He told her and she paused her song.
'Did Sapphire kill her?" She asked but he shook her head.
'No, she was killed at this abandoned building, Sapphire and Brielle were the ones that went to discover and take her corpse, they didn't make any effort to do a funeral for her though."
'If I was the one too, I won't give her any freaking funeral. She doesn't deserve it but I am sure the bitch saw her death coming a thousand miles away when she decided to start working with a very scary set of people. She is just not cut out for all the gambling, killing and drugs, she should have stuck to her alcohol and strutting up to stage since that's her specialty." Melissa said with no empathy or pity in her voice. 'What is Sapphire up to?"
'They hired some more bodyguards, nothing else. They seemed to want to protect themselves more now that they were able to get the kids from the parties that kidnapped them."
'Idiots. Protection is definitely the next thing," Melissa said sarcastically, she reached up to use tie up her hair which had turned a bit messy. 'Any update on Venita's boss. I wonder who is good enough to make that bitch shake in her heels, she even killed her off and she is in control of Heather too. Sounds like a super meticulous person to me, I would like to see her in person, to know what she looks like."
'I would inform you as soon as I get some information on her."
'What the hell is Arielle doing?! Isn't she supposed to come here to at least visit me?"
'Last time I checked, she went to meet some business partners in Barcelona."
'What? She went cruising? Since when?"
'The morning you were arrested by the police officers. I sent information to her that you had been arrested and I am sure that she received it."
'Yet, she went ahead to Barcelona? Is that dimwit for real? She should just wait till I am out of here before I deal with her. She wants to rebel simply because I am not there anymore? That bitch!" Melissa said in rage.
'Some chief prosecutors met with Alexander, I think it has something to do with you, it seems that they are really trying to make you rot here." Kelvin informed her and she fisted her finger before banging it on the table with force.
'They think I would allow that? Kelvin. I need you to contact every single person I have helped and I have some power over, be it that the company is heavily investing in their company, I have some sort of leverage on them or they owe me a favor. I have to get out of here in forty eight hours." Melissa ordered with red eyes and Kelvin stared at her in disbelief.
Pride is definitely Melissa Achilles' heel, when she feels that she is insulted in any way, she loses her head and brain.

Luci opened her eyes with a groan, she rolled her eyes in annoyance when she realized that she had been tied to a chair. She was in a dirty place that seemed like a warehouse. She tried to move her neck and winced when pain shot up her neck to the back of her head.
'Those bitch shouldn't have banged that damn baton on my head so bad." She groaned, and tried to move her hand to ease the pain but she found out that she couldn't move at all.
They had come into her room and she had welcomed them with curses and swears before they decided it would be best to attack her together and knock her out cold.
This is hers and Zayn's plan, a method to kill two beds with a single stone, no one except the two of them knew about this plan, if they had let Sapphire in on it, she would have strongly opposed them.
She had lied to Sapphire that her father had called her over and came to her apartment instead, she had waited patiently for them to come and as soon as they left the car some of Zayn's men had attached a tracking device to the car and they had got some help from the detective in charge of Heather's case.
Felix and Arielle would be here with a kidnapped Luci and then they would be arrested, a recording device is a in Luci's hair that had being pulled into a messy bun on her head,that was the least of the space they would suspect , even when they beat her, there's low probability that it would fall off since she she made sure that it was firmly hidden, that would be the evidence used against them.
It would be fairly easy to get Felix since he has a lot of criminal activities in his hand and Arielle would just have to be taken away on the grounds that she is associated with a hardened criminal.
She heard the sound of a stick hitting the floor and exhaled in annoyance. Did they have some sort of cows here that they had to herd, even then it is animal abuse.
'You really have some guts," she raised her head and couldn't help the disappointment she felt when she saw Felix standing in front of her.
'Guts to stay in my house? I hardly think that's something bad to do." Luci said spitefully.
'You seem to be disappointed to see me," Felix said and Luci only scoffed.
'Whoever is happy to see you is a dumbfuck, tell you what? I would love nothing more than to put a bullet through that tiny skull" She replied and gave him a grim look.
'You are rude."
'Oh really? Thank you," she said, a mocking smile draped over her lips. 'Why the fuck did you drag me here? I have nothing in your freaking business?"
'Why don't you ask the boss right here?" Felix asked, Arielle had already entered the room but she still used her mask and face cap, judging by the curiosity in Felix's eyes, he still had no idea that Arielle is the one he is bowing to humbly.
'You are a plan to draw out Sapphire. A message had been sent to her to come here alone to save you," Arielle explained but she used a voice alterer.
'You must think that I am special, Sapphire ain't coming here baby. Why don't we talk like adults here, without the ropes and sticks?"
'You sure are cocky for someone that had been kidnapped." Felix said.
'You like my confidence? Wanna switch sides? It's not advisable to do business with the person that killed off your niece." Luci said but Felix just stared at her. 'Don't tell me that you don't know."
'Venita crossed a line she should have never crossed and she had to face whatever it was that happened to her. That is what happens when kids don't stay where adults tell them to" Felix said simply and Luci scoffed.
'Asshole. Jerk. You knew of her death and still don't plan to avenge her? She must be rolling in her grave,"she continued and Arielle walked towards her and slapped her hard twice, the spot turned red and there were palms mark on her pale cheek,
'You talk too much," Arielle said and she turned her head to look at her before she started laughing maniacally.
'You must have gone crazy with that slap."
'But then, I don't find it all that strange. You even killed your brother by yourself, a niece is nothing." Luci said.
'You say all this without any evidence. I killed Marcel but you can come back to accuse me of it when you have some evidence to back up your claim." Felix said and Luci smiled.
Armed men rushed inside the building with guns in their hands and both Arielle and Felix stared at them with wide eyes.
'Freeze!" The detective said she walked towards them with a gun in her hand and they raised their hands in surrender.
'Don't bother yourself about the ladies, they had been taken care of when you were chatting with me, I enjoyed that chat by the way" Luci said, one of the armed men went to her and untied her hand and legs, she stood with a small smirk.
'It's about time you give Felix, don't you think so too Arielle?" She asked and turned to the masked woman within arched brow, Felix turned to look at the person beside him in both confusion and shock, his eyes looking like they would pop out of their sockets.
