'You missed the cooking class yesterday too, we had to go to the party, I was tired yesterday, I didn't knew when you came home with dad, I planned to welcome you at the door," Andrew said and Sapphire choked on the toast she was eating, Alexander quickly handed her a glass of water, a smirk on his face and Sapphire glared at him.
She was imagining Andrew running out of the room to welcome his parent like the good kid he is and sees them trying to swallow each other, the kind of explanation and diverting they would have to do sent a shudder down her pine and she visibly shuddered as she drank her water, Alexander who was aware of her train of thought only smiled to himself.
'That is not the proper way to say thank you mom, we won't take after you in any way at this point," Andrea cautioned her and Sapphire raised a brow at her daughter in confusion while drinking the water.
'What are you talking about?" Sapphire asked when he finally placed the glass on the table.
'Dad handed you a glass of water and all you did was glare at him, we saw that too," Andrew said, raising the glass of juice to his lips and Sapphire cleared her throat, speechless.
'It doesn't matter Kids, your mom knows that I love her so much that I can't get angry at her, so she is doing what she wants," Alexander said, adjusting his laptop while he continued working.
'You are such a henpecked husband," Andrea told him with a tsk and shake of head and Sapphire raised her head to stare at the man whose smirk only widened.
'You all think the same way," She said with a shake of head.
'And don't bother your mother, kids, she is very tired from yesterday's event," Alexander said, smiling at the kid innocently and Sapphire glared at the man's head.
'Yeah, I guess that is plausible," Andrea said to Alexander, nodding her head in agreement, oblivious of the double meaning her dad's words had.
'So where did you and mom go after leaving the party? I noticed that you drove the car in the opposite direction after making sure that we were settled comfortably in the car," Andrew asked and Alexander pushed his laptop away and gestured to his kids to come close, they nodded and ran to his arms, sitting on both sides of him.
'We went to the beach, your mother and I went there to get fresh air, we had to deal with a lot of reporters, I took her there to help her clear her head," he told them.
'How is staring at the water at night supposed to clear your mind, I would rather build sand castles," Andrea told him.
'When you grow up kids and things get complicated and you think that they are weighing over your mind, I want you to always turn to the things that ease your mind and take a breather, when one does that, all their worries is swept away with the air and at that moment, nothing matters than yourself," Alexander told them and even though their young minds don't fully understand what the older man is saying they still nodded.
'And after you finish breathing the air?" Andrew asked.
'We enter the car," Alexander said simply.
'Then?"
'We came home."
'And what did you guys do when you got home?" Andrea asked and Sapphire's eyes widened, Alexander opened his mouth to talk but she did before he could, who knows what the man would say, he is unpredictable sometimes.
'Sleep, we slept, we went to sleep, what else do people do after they get home late at night?" Sapphire and both twins stared at their mother in surprise before shrugging while Alexander just chuckled slowly, under his breath.
'I don't know, some decide that their brain is still active and read a book, some decide that they feel sticky and take a bath and some decide that they are hungry and find something to eat, do you want me to continue?" Andrew said, innocently while Andrea raised a brow at her, Sapphire relaxed back in her chair and faced her toast bread that was still on the plate.
Maybe she reacted too soon.
'Yeah, we were hungry last and ate__" Alexander said, staring straight at Sapphire in the eyes,
Nope, she was right, she didn't react too soon.
'Shut up Alexander," Sapphire told him and he raised his hand in mock surrender before turning to face his laptop, a serious expression on his face but Sapphire could still see that mischievous glint that indicated how much he enjoyed this in his eyes.
'Now that I think about it, I remember that I have to go to the Yoga's club, do you guys want to do something today, I can also ignore all the stuff all together and we would hang out," Sapphire said, her hand stuck deep in the pocket of Alexander's hood that she was wearing, yep, Alexander's hood.
She won't lie that she didn't like the way his scent surrounded her, it made her feel like the man himself was hugging her and that is best feeling after the way he made her feel in bed, maybe she would let her know some other day but definitely not today or any day in that month, the man would feel too cocky and it would serve as a huge boost to his ego.
'Nah, you just go ahead mom, I am too tired, you are a rare gem for having the strength to stand after all you went through yesterday," Andrea replied with a shake of her head.
'I am amazed that she can stand on her feet but after all, she is a strong woman, a rare gem," Alexander said, still typing his laptop and stared at him in exasperation but couldn't find the right word for him so she just let it pass.
'Okay," she said and headed up the stairs, she met Luci in the hallway, the woman was just getting out of her room.
'Wow, someone seems to be glowing today, did something special happen yesterday?" She asked and Sapphire quickly shook her head and started walking away, Luci found her behavior suspicious and quickly hurried after her.
She grabbed her shoulder and saw the blush on Sapphire's face, she raised a brow before she looked down at her cloth, her eyes widened when she saw that she was wearing Alexander's hood.
'Oh My God," she said slowly and just as she opened her mouth to scream happily, Sapphire quickly covered her mouth with her hand, she screamed but it was muffled.
'Wait, you had sex?!" She asked when Sapphire finally removed her hand from the woman's mouth and Sapphire glared at her.
'Ooops sorry," She said before giggling, Sapphire only rolled her eyes at her and started walking away, Luci was immediately hot on her trail.
'You would tell me all about it! No, You must!"
'In your dreams!" Sapphire replied but Luci already had her hand over her shoulder, a determined expression her face, they chuckled loudly as they went, LUci trying to make Sapphire talk and the other woman not opening up.,
