THE ALDINES' MANSION
Alexander was wondering why Sapphire wasn't back when he noticed that Oliver too was also missing from the group, he cursed and made his way towards the ladies restroom.
He met Alicia on the way and held her by the hand, pulling her to a stop while still looking around.
'What's wrong?" Alicia asked and Alexander turned to her and nodded.
'Did you see Sapphire come this way, she said that she wanted to go to the restroom and she had been gone for the past thirty minutes," He said and Alicia stared at him puzzled.
'That isn't a cause for alarm, she could be doing her business there or getting away from those brats," Alicia said.
'Oliver had also disappeared, I remember that he left shortly after Sapphire did,"
'It could be a coincidence," she said unsure and he shook his head.
'I don't believe in that," He replied and started walking away.
'So, are you going to enter the ladies restroom, won't that be considered crazy," Alicia asked, raising a brow at her cousin.
'No, I am not going to enter but not if need arises for me to, let's face it, whichever lady I meet in that place would try to seduce me, so all is good," he said and Alicia scoffed.
'Stop being cocky, it is cringey when you do it to your family members," Alicia told him.
'I got to go," he said and she nodded.
He rounded the corner and stopped when he saw Oliver standing with Sapphire, shaking her and asking her about the kids, he stared at his hand on Sapphire's arm and his face hardened.
'What the hell is that asshole doing?" He said and moved to him before speed walking to them.
He yanked Sapphire's arm from his and turned to glare at him but the idiot moved closer to touch her again, he turned to him and punched him in the face.
'Keep your fucking hands to yourself, don't touch my wife!" He gritted out while Oliver held his jaws groaning because of the pain that he felt there.
Alexander glared at him once again before turning to Sapphire and his look softened, he saw that she was in a trance and moved her to an open space before he started to soothe her.
'You are okay, everything is alright, just open your eyes and see how true that is," he whispered into her ears. 'You are not there and everything is alright,"
'Oh my god! What happened to her?" Claire asked, rushing towards them while Alicia and Alyssa were trailing behind her.
Alexander raised his fingers to his lips and Claire swallowed the word she wanted to say while nodding her head and doing the okay sign.
Alexander cursed when he saw the tear that dropped from her eyes and used his finger to wipe it, while rocking her and muttering sweet words in her ears.
Her eyes started to come alive and she came to her senses with a quiet whimper.
'Where am I? My babies! Are they okay?" She muttered desperately looking around but her eyes not registering the people around her as the guest of Aldines' mansion.
'Your babies are okay and you are okay, now calm down and look at me," Alexander said beside her and she exhaled in relief before she turned to stare at him.
'Alexander?" She said after staring at him with squinted eyes for a few seconds, she looked around. 'Where am I?" She asked.
'At the Aldines' mansion," he replied and she nodded before she became unconscious, falling into Alexander's hand and he held her tightly, he wiped the perspiration on her forehead.
'Mr. Aldine," Oliver asked, walking towards him with hands tucked in his pants and busted lips.
'What happened to you? Did you get into a fight?" Heather asked fussing over him but he only side stepped her.
'Get the fuck away," he replied cooly and Oliver scoffed.
'Why the hostility, we were cool with each other earlier," he removed his hand from his pants and raised a brow. 'Or did you change your mind because I used to date your wife?" He asked with cocky politeness.
'Why would I care about that, you are the one who chose trash over treasure, bees don't waste their time explaining to flies why honey is better than shit," he replied and adjusted his wife before he started to walk away while Heather stared at him with an aghast expression.
'Oh my god! I heard that, I totally did. Can Alexander get more savage?" Tina, who just entered, said she had heard from a guest that almost everyone was here and she had dragged Penny there to have a look.
'Does that make Heather trash or shit?" I think shit," Penny said and Tina hit her head.
'No!, that makes her trash," Tina corrected.
'She is already both. You don't need something or someone to make her that," Alyssa said loudly and Heather cheeks burned in embarrassment while she bowed her head in shame.
'Are you doing this because you don't want to give the kids to their rightful father which is me," Oliver said and the people present started murmuring.
'He said it, yeah he finally did," Alicia said and shook her head. 'He finally said it at the cost of everything he is."
Alexander paused and turned, he gave the idiotic man a look and scoffed.
'How about you are patient till the kids turns eighteen and let them say who their father is, they are humans not dummies but what do I expect from a fool who only hoards a collection of stupid specimens around him,"
'Don't take it out on me, It was not my fault that your weak wife is not strong enough to answer some questions,"
'Your ass must be jealous of all the crap that comes out of your mouth but I am pretty sure that telling you that I would have a hard on for Sparkle once Sapphire tell me to kiss your company would keep it close," Alexander said and carried Sapphire in a bridal style before walking away.
Oliver stared at Alexander with wide eyes, he had over done it. It would be the end of him if Alexander decided to set his gaze on his company, he does not stand a chance.
And the decision isn't even up to him but his greatest enemy.
'Father my foot," Melissa said after it was only her, Oliver and Heather that were left in the room. 'You got rid of the babies, you have got some nerves to be claiming the kids."
'Why are you looking for trouble? We both know that you don't hold a candle to Alexander," Heather said to him.
'Could it be that your husband is getting a boner for Sapphire after seeing her look like an angel?" Melissa asked Oliver and he rolled his eyes at her. 'You wanted an angel but your relationship with her was hell. We all forced her soul into the depth of hell and turned her to a devil, we should prepare for our karma,"
'What shit are you spewing?" Heather asked.
'And I would be damned if her grim reaper isn't strong enough." Melissa said, staring at where Alexander got out from.
