"Really?" Jane asked. "Tell me who are the guys that tried to snatch you from him?"
I can't tell her that Eric was one of them. No.
"Forget about it. It will bore you."
"It can't. Tell me please. I love hearing Crazy stories."
"That means my love life is crazy?" I joked. Well, it's true.
"To....tally." Allison said.
"I love him more than any thing in the world." I say.
"Aww.. that's so sweet." jane admired.
"So what about you, are you seeing someone?" I asked jane.
"Nah. Still hanging around."
"No? C'mon! Don't tell me that no one got attracted to this damsel. Are you serious?!" I can't believe it myself.
"It's not that. I am the one that closed my heart."
"Why, huh?" I asked.
"Nothing."
I knew why, Eric.
"Let me make you a cup of coffee." I stood up.
"No, don't worry. I'm not going to spend much time."
A call came in on my phone. It was Eric. Why would he be calling me now? Is this not a coincidence.
"Won't you answer the call?" Jane asked me.
"Yeah, yeah." I was terrified. "Hello, who's this? Oh, sorry wrong number." I quickly hung up. This is crazy.
"It happens." Jane said, standing up. "Okay I'll be leaving now."
"Where are you staying now? Are you in college now?"
"Yes, Yale university. I'm studying economics. You know what, have my number so you can call me when you get to see Eric."
"Sure."We exchanged phone numbers.
"Bye." She left. I shut the door and fell on my bed sighing.
I took my phone on my bed and called Eric back.
"Hey, Eric." I don't even know what to say to him.
"Hey, why did you say that it was a wrong number when it wasn't. It got me worried." He said.
"Sorry...never mind."
"You are hiding something aren't you?"
"So...how are you doing?" I changed the conversation.
"Hmm...I'm fine," He knew what i was doing. "What about you. How are you doing? You know it's been a while I've called."
"Not really. I've been stressed out these days."
"Oh, should i come check on you?"
"No, you don't have to worry. I'll be fine," What! I don't want Stephen to see him in my room or anywhere just like the last time. "It might even add up." I murmured but i think he heard.
"Oh...are you still with Stephen?"
"Yeah, what about you, are with someone now?"
"No."
I don't know if i should tell him i met with Jane today. 'just tell him'. My thoughts bothered me.
"No, i won't!" I stated.
"Is something wrong?" He was confused.
"Sorry i was not talking to you." If Allison was listen to my conversation, she will think I'm a weirdo cause I'm talking to nobody else expect Eric. Whatever, don't care.
"Okay, don't you want to know why i called?"
"Yes, tell me."
"Okay first, do you remember what's going to happen next tomorrow?" He asked me.
"Seriously, i don't know. What could it be? Is it your birthday?" What the hell am i forgetting?
"You don't know?!"
"I'm serious i don't know what you're talking about."
"Till you remember then."
"How will i remember if you don't tell me?"
"When you remember you will know how dumb you are."
"What?! Did you just call me dumb."
"Just joking. Call me when you remember." He hung up.
"Gosh! what am i forgetting. I hate suspense."
I called Stephen severally this morning but he wasn't picking up. He only sent me a text message that he has a surprise for me. I had to go with Aaron since he was heading to class too. When we entered class, to my surprise, i found Stephen there. Am i dreaming? He finally did it. I actually thought he was joking. He only winked at me. I sat down next to Aaron but Stephen gave me a glare not to but i didn't listen. What's the big deal? I didn't even realize that Stephen had been watching us all along not paying attention in class. His behaviour caught the lecturer's attention.
"Hey, you with the bandana on the head, what was i saying?"
"Me?" Stephen wanted to clarify if the man was actually referring to him.
"Yes, you."
"I actually don't know."
"Why did you take English as the course you want to study then?"
"Well, that's because i want to keep a close watch of my girlfriend." He chuckled.
I looked away because i didn't want anyone to know that i'm actually is girlfriend. It's so embarrassing. No one even laughed. The lecturer didn't take it funny either.
"Just to let you know, this isn't high school where you could just blab your mouth. I don't think this is the best place for you if you keep on with that act. Is that clear?"
"Yes sir." Stephen sat down back.
Immediately class was over, Aaron and i left the class without saying a word to Stephen. I entered Aaron's car and we left. I just couldn't take that embarrassment. I know Stephen will be pissed but he should understand. I hope he will.
"Aaron, i just want to make this clear, we are just friends. Are you cool with that?"
"Yeah, I'm okay with it. I didn't have any other intention believe me. I just want to be friends with you." He says.
"It's cool then."
Aaron's pov
Just friends? That can never be possible. I'm going to show Stephen that you have fallen for me. I swear, I'm going to fuck you tonight. You are mine, you are mine Sharon. Gosh! That sexy body, i want it laying on my damn bed. I'm gonna get you, i swear.
