He was covered in blood, and even breathing had become a difficult task. He seemed to be on the verge of death.

I silently watched him, gradually waiting for his final moments.

Suddenly, the familiar Magic Fluctuation awakened once again.

I was stunned for a moment, but instinctively looked sharply toward Wilson Spencer who was lying on the ground.

He struggled to keep his eyelids open, and smiled gently as if he could see me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were in so much pain. This time, I've repaid you, and I hope you'll be happy for the rest of your life."

Hearing this, I decisively nodded.

But he, as if having a seizure, asked weakly, gasping for breath.

"Melody, so you forgive me, right?"

I gave a cold laugh, looked him over for a while, and stepped forward.

"I cannot!"

After saying that, I quickly waved my magic to take me back. As I was leaving, I could still hear Wilson Spencer calling out to me in agony, but it seemed he soon stopped breathing.

Forgiveness? How could that be possible? Everything he did was simply karmic retribution, the cycle of cause and effect.
