Chapter 28 Long Distance Friendship

"Moon! "Where are you, Moon?" said Lily, calling in a voice full of hope. But there was no answer. She continued walking deeper into the lush garden. Anxiety began to creep into her heart, but she chose to remain calm and focused. Suddenly, behind a bush, she saw a beam of light shining faintly in the distance. Without hesitation, Lily rushed towards the light, and the closer she got, the clearer it became that someone was waiting for her.

"Lilies! "Where have you been?" asked Alpha Gray with a cynical look.

"Ah, I thought Moon had been waiting. "Why are you here?" Lily answered with an annoyed expression.

Lily looked at Alpha Gray with great annoyance, and so did Alpha Grey.

"Stop looking for Moon!" said Alpha Gray in a firm voice. "She's gone and won't come back. Stop being friends with her!."

Lily felt confused. "What do you mean, Alpha?" She looked at him with a look full of disbelief.

However, Alpha Grey's expression remained serious. "Stop being friends with her! She is not a good person for you. She can only put you in danger! She doesn't even have any power. She will only take advantage of your kindness and strength!."

"No! Moon, it's not like that. She has no evil intentions towards me," Lily answered firmly.

"Is it true? Then do you know where she comes from? So that she is not blessed with the blessing of power? Such people are those who are condemned because of their guilt for the evil deeds they have committed. Anyway, I don't want you to be friends with her! "Remember that well?!" said Alpha Gray firmly and left Lily.

Lily gripped her hands tightly in annoyance. She couldn't refute the order.

"Isn't that supposed to be good? People who don't have powers wouldn't hurt other people in this world, right?" Lily grumbled.

Slowly, the sun continued to rise, emitting its warm light. The dazzling sunlight made Moon wake up from her deep sleep. She fell asleep in the academy library.

"Hoah! Gosh, I slept all night here. Hah, oh my!" I said, yawning and spreading my arms.

I remembered what had just happened last night. I tried to practice gaining my strength with the chatter of Alpha Gray, who continued to hate me.

Suddenly, someone opened the library door, which surprised me.

"Eh, Moon! How long have you been here?" said Professor Aria Star.

"Prof! "Yes, I just arrived," I lied.

"So, I have breakfast. Do you want it?" Professor Aria Star said, offering me breakfast. She put breakfast and drinks on the table.

"Thank you very much, Prof!" I said with a smile.

"Yes, no problem. Are you alright? "Where are your friends?" Professor Aria Star asked me, which suddenly surprised me.

"Friend? "You mean Lily?" I asked, confused. Professor Aria Star already knows about my lack of friends in this academy.

"A-ah yes… I meant Lily. "You guys are friends?" said Professor Aria Star doubtfully.

"Yes, but for now, that's impossible. "Alpha Gray will be very angry with me if I become friends with Lily," I answered.

"Do they hate you because you don't have powers?" asked Professor Aria Star.

"Yes, I think so!" I answered simply.

"Then do you want that power?" asked Professor Aria Star.

"That….yeah, I guess! I've tried doing what some books say: how to bring forth power and break the curse of darkness. Bringing out power is impossible for me," I answered while showing several books on the table that I had read before.

Suddenly, there was the sound of running footsteps from outside the room.

"Okay, see you later!" Professor Aria Star confused me.

Professor Aria Star opened the library window and then jumped out nimbly. I immediately pushed aside the books covering the table and stepped closer to the window, which was still wide open. I saw Professor Aria Star disappear behind the bushes.

Sabastian, Theo, and Professor Aria Star hurriedly entered this room.

"Where is that person?" asked Professor Aria Star.

Hearing that voice, I immediately saw Professor Aria Star with the others.

"Professor Aria Star, what are you doing here? "Wasn't that just now!" I asked.

Professor Aria Star started to approach the window. She seemed to be trying to find someone.

"Hah, who dares to impersonate me?" shouted Professor Aria Star, which confused me.

Professor Aria Star tried to calm herself, "Oh my! Sorry, Moon, I surprised you. Have you met me here a while ago?" asked Professor Aria Star in a friendly voice.

I nodded slowly in response to Professor Aria Star's question. "Yeah, I met you a while ago. You escaped by jumping into that window!" I answered in a soft voice, pointing at the window.

"So. What have I done to you before? "That person didn't do anything bad to you, right?" asked Professor Aria Star, looking at me.

I shook my head, "No, she gave me breakfast."

"It's good if there are no problems. "Let's go back on patrol. Make sure everyone is safe!" Professor Aria Star ordered the two of them.

They immediately left the library room. I sat back in the chair and started breakfast here.

A few minutes passed, and I walked out of the library room. Not far from me, I saw Lily walking quickly towards her. But she stopped and just looked at me from a distance.

"Moon! "Come with me?" said Theo, who suddenly appeared and surprised me.

I looked at Theo in surprise. "Where, Theo?" I asked curiously.

"I'm sure you don't have a good place besides the library. So I will take you to that place. Don't worry, I won't bite you. "I'm not a vampire like that," Theo answered with a mysterious smile.

I agreed and followed Theo's steps as he showed me the way. Lily watched the two of us leave. She didn't show any expression on her face.

Halfway through the journey, Theo stopped in his tracks.

"Are you okay?" Theo asked me.

"Yes, I am doing okay. "Where are we going?" I answered.

"Continue to follow me. This will be your temporary residence," Theo answered.

Theo and I continued our journey. Now, I no longer walk in a wheelchair. I can walk alone.

We walked up to the front gate of the academy, everyone silently watching the two of us. Theo looked at me for a moment.

"Moon, there are no vehicles here. We've traveled quite a long way, and I don't want you to feel tired. "Can I carry you?" Theo asked me with a sweet smile on his face.
