Chapter 22 I Miss Father And Mother

1161words
My mother let go of the hug and looked at my father. Dad smiled at me.

"Don't be too hard on yourself, my daughter. You did your best, but sometimes things are out of your control. What's important is that you have good intentions and try to protect your friend. Don't weigh yourself down too much with guilt. The important thing now is to learn from this experience and be wiser in the future. Continue to be a good and caring friend, but remember that you are also a human being prone to making mistakes," said the father gently.

"Yes, Father, I will remember your advice. I miss father and mother," I said with emotion.

"I miss you too, son. I hope we can be together again someday," my mother said softly while rubbing my back.

"My daughter, I am proud of you and what you did to protect your friends. Use your strength for good, and don't let your mistakes destroy your self-confidence. Your life journey is a valuable lesson, and I am sure you will grow into a strong and wise person," continued the father with complete confidence.

"Okay, my daughter! Take good care of yourself. We will watch over you from here and always pray for your safety. Come back in peace and be a great child," added my mother, kissing my forehead lovingly.

They both disappeared into the increasingly bright light while I felt peaceful in their loving embrace. I cried uncontrollably, but my tears this time were not because of sadness but because of deep gratitude for his support and love.

Slowly, I began to feel someone had wiped my tears. That person also held my hand tightly. A faint voice sounded in my ear, "It's okay, don't worry. Everything will be fine. Get up!" said the person.

Slowly opening my eyes, I saw bright sunlight shining into the room, indicating that morning had arrived. I saw Professor Aria Star sitting in a chair, waiting for me with a smile.

"You finally woke up! Good morning, Moon," said Professor Aria Star warmly. His smile conveyed warmth and joy that calmed my heart. She helped me get up, and I leaned back on the bed, still confused.

"Are you okay, Moon? Tell me if you feel pain in your body," said Professor Aria Star, sitting back in the chair. She took a glass of warm drink from the side table and then handed it to me. "Drink, you must be thirsty," said Professor Aria Star, pointing to the drink glass.

"Thank you, Professor. What happened to me? Why did I come here?" I asked, then drank the warm drink.

"Have you forgotten what happened to you? You've been unconscious for three days. Fortunately, Undermoon Academy has a great healer," replied Professor Aria Star with concern. "You had quite serious internal injuries, Moon. You fainted and were found by Theo in the city park. Theo brought you here immediately to get proper treatment."

I listened carefully to the Professor's explanation, trying to recall what happened. However, my memory is still hazy, and my chest feels a little heavy. I'm grateful to have Professor Aria Star here to explain my condition.

"Don't worry, Moon. You look better. You need to rest and recover from your injuries. We will look after and take good care of you here."

"Thank you, Prof. I owe you a debt of gratitude," I said sincerely.

"It doesn't matter. It's actually me who owes you a favor. If only you weren't there and didn't read that letter to me. I will regret it for the rest of my life. My friend got cursed by someone. "The demon emperor's dark curse turned her into an uncontrollable demon," answered Professor Aria Star, who then took the food to the side table.

"Moon, have breakfast first, okay? Let me feed you!" said Professor Aria Star responsibly.

"No need, Professor. I can do it myself. Thank you for looking after me," I said gratefully.

"Okay, that's fine," answered Professor Aria Star with a gentle smile. Professor Aria Star arranged the bed on a table and then placed breakfast on the table.

"Eat a lot!" said the Professor, sitting back in his chair. Regarding the above, Professor Aria Star is an individual who is very attentive and cares about the condition and welfare of other people.

I started breakfast. I felt like I had no energy, and my hands felt weak to move. I decided to keep eating slowly, even though my power was limited. I don't want to make things difficult for other people in my life.

Someone rushed to open the door. Theo came with several of his friends. Theo carried a cheerful smile and brought several extra bags of food.

"Moon! Oh, thank goodness you're awake. How are you?" Theo asked as he came over and positioned himself next to me.

I nodded weakly, trying to smile even though my body felt tired.

"I'm still weak, but it will definitely get better with all of your care and support. Theo, thank you for bringing me here. I owe you a debt of gratitude!" I answered gratefully.

"It's okay. There's no need to feel indebted to me. We are friends and support each other. That's what real friends do, support each other and don't expect anything in return," Theo said sincerely.

"I brought breakfast for you, porridge and fruit. "There's cake, too," said Theo, putting the shopping bag next to Professor Aria Star.

Professor Aria Star smiled and answered, "Thank you, Theo, you are very attentive and considerate. Okay, I'll leave Moon to you, okay? I have to take care of something. Moon, you get plenty of rest, okay?"

Moon smiled, "Of course, Professor, I will rest well. Thank you for accompanying me, Prof!"

Professor Aria Star was relieved to hear Moon's promise to rest well. Professor Aria Star smiled and immediately left the room. Theo immediately sat in a chair.

"Chief, we're leaving first! Suddenly, there's something I have to do," said one member of the vampire group, who immediately ran away.

"Chairman, me too! Moon, I hope you get well soon. Sorry, chairman," said the other members, who hurriedly left the room.

After the vampire group members left, only Theo and Moon remained in the room.

"Wow, it seems like your members really respect you. They even did something very important," I said to Theo, referring to the departure of the vampire group members.

"Yes, they did their job well. They are a professional team and always respect the chairman's orders. How are you, Moon? Would you like me to feed you breakfast this morning?"

Moon smiled gently and replied, "Thank you, Theo. I feel a little tired, but I will eat myself."

"What happened to you? Why were you so badly injured when I found you? That's really dangerous when you're in that condition!" Theo asked while watching me finish the last bite of breakfast.
