Chapter 20 The Morse Code Hidden

The Professor and Grey have different opinions regarding Moon's involvement in deciphering the letter's contents. They argued, and in the middle of the debate, I refuted their words.

"Sorry to interrupt your discussion, but I think I can help in deciphering the contents of the letter," I said, which made Grey and Professor Aria Star stop arguing.

"Really? That would be very helpful. I'd like to hear what you can tell me about the contents of the letter?" said Professor Aria enthusiastically.

"There are several lines in this letter. These are not just lines made with the intention of the pen jamming the ink. But this has Morse code hidden in it," I explained. "The Morse code hidden in the lines of this letter indicates that this message contains confidential or important information. But this Morse code means using ancient letters, such as the content of the message written by the professor's friend. So, if it is concluded that the professor's friend is in danger. Friend, The professor said seeing a man entering the Undermoon violates the world's rules. Dragging a man and disappearing. It's like I'm being spied on by a vampire's ability. Please save me, or find me as soon as possible. There are several sentences from the professor's friend explaining, 'How can the sky be blue? turn black?' "This sentence is intended to explain why I suddenly couldn't see the stars in the night sky," I said, explaining the letter's contents.

Professors Aria Star and Grey were silent momentarily, realizing how serious the situation expressed in the letter was. Suddenly, the professor was shocked and anxious while Grey tried to process all the information he had just heard.

"How is my friend now? I received that letter a long time ago, and I don't know what has happened to him since then," said Professor Aria Star in a worried tone.

"We need to take immediate action to search for and save your friend. He may still be in danger, and time is an important factor in this situation," I said with determination.

"I hope it's not too late. I have to go to my friend's house. She also lives in Undermoon but not downtown. Thank you very much, Moon. Then see you later. I have to go," said Professor Aria Star, hurriedly put on her coat and went out of the room.

"Prof, wait?! Can't you consider what this girl said?" shouted Grey in desperation, trying to convince Professor Aria not to rush into making a decision.

Professor Aria Star ignored Grey's words. She seemed to have drowned to immediately save her close friend. Grey looked at me with a cold gaze that made me shiver.

"Hah! Can't you say it better? You are making the professor anxious and in danger! What if she goes to her friend's house and someone tries to hurt her. Do you want to take responsibility?" Grey said firmly and angrily at me.

I can't say anything. I am still determining what Professor Aria Star's character is like. From here, she is seen as a friend who is very worried about her friend.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to make the professor feel anxious or in danger. "I'm just conveying what is said in this letter," I said without malicious intent.

Grey put on a gloomy face and looked at me sharply. He looked at me with a cold gaze and didn't care what my reasons were. He left this room.

The atmosphere in the room started to get quiet, and I began to feel guilty. I realized that my words had had an undesirable impact on Grey and Professor Aria Star. I felt the need to apologize to them and explain that my intention was only to convey the information in the letter without intending to cause anyone concern or harm.

With sadness and regret, I left Professor Aria Star's study. I walked with my head lowered towards the dormitory, passing several people who had accidentally noticed me and noticed my sad state. On the way to the dormitory, guilt and regret increasingly filled my mind.

They noticed the girl who lowered her head while walking. Some of them knew a little about the girl.

"Wow, look at her face! She looks sad or has a problem," commented one of them.

"I saw him leaving with Professor Aria Star. Maybe he failed to do what the professor expected," explained one of his friends.

"Hahaha... of course it will end like that. She doesn't have any power, right? Of course, the professor will immediately throw her out!" laughed the other girl.

They gossip about the girl and make negative assumptions about her based on her appearance and her relationship with Professor Aria Star.

"It's certain that she can't read ancient letters and was immediately scolded by Professor Aria Star," continued the first girl.

"Yes, you're right. I can't even do that, even though I've been studying for months. Those ancient letters seem to be used to cause trouble and make us feel inferior to other people," said another girl, agreeing with her friend's opinion.

Moon exited the Undermoon Academy area, walking towards the dormitory. But immediately, she changed direction and left the room. She started walking towards the hustle and bustle of the city.

"I should just go home without having to know Undermoon or not come here at all. Their negative assumptions about me only make me worse," I thought sadly.

Suddenly, I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Sorry, forgive me?" I said immediately, looking forward. I was surprised because the person I bumped into was Lily, a close friend I know.

"I'm sorry, Lily! I accidentally bumped into you," I said, panicked.

Lily, with a warm smile, replied, "It's okay, there's nothing to worry about. What's wrong with you? You look sad!"

"Ah, just a small problem," I answered, trying to fake a smile. "Don't worry, Moon. I'm here for you. I know you're facing a lot of pressure and negative assumptions. I heard it from those people earlier," Lily said sympathetically.

"Thank you, Lily. I really appreciate your support. You are always a reliable friend," I said with emotion.

Suddenly, a group of uncontrolled bats attacked this place and made everyone panic. Some people seek to protect themselves, while others seek shelter. Moon and Lily try to find a safe place to hide. But that's when an unexpected attack was aimed at Lily. I quickly jumped forward and pushed Lily away, relying on the attack on myself to protect a good friend. This attack is a magical power with light that makes it impossible for anyone to see their surroundings. I thought I could defend my friend, but apparently, I was wrong. I couldn't fully protect Lily even though I used my body. Lily was hit by a magical attack, causing her arm to be injured.

"Lilies!" I said with panic and worry filling my voice. I saw blood flowing from Lily's hand.

Lily looked at her off guard, and she smiled at me. "It's okay. It's just a small wound. Thank you for protecting me. Are you okay, Moon?" Lily asked with concern visible in her eyes.

"Yes..." I said in a trembling voice. I stopped talking as a familiar man's voice came and barged closer to Lily.

"Lily! You are injured. You need to be treated quickly. What did you do to Lily, Moon? Do you realize you have caused injury to your friend?" said Grey angrily and disappointed.

"I didn't mean to cause Lily any harm, Grey. I'm really sorry," I said in a weak voice, full of regret.

"Hah, just an excuse! You don't care about Lily's safety. You're just selfish!" said Grey with annoyance that was overflowing.

Lily quickly treated herself with healing magical powers and raised her hand to stop the blood from flowing.

"Grey, don't be angry with Moon. This was just an accident. Just a small injury," She said calmly.

Suddenly, Professor Aria Star was in front of us and repelled an unexpected attack aimed at the three of us.

"Silence your egos now! We must focus on facing this threat together!" Professor Aria Star said seriously.
